Hmm.... like I said, its very tempting to put this under danmei. It's not like Debut or Die or All the S-Classes I Raised where you have to squint a little to see BL. Here, the sugar is all over the place, MC can be a CP with anybody XD. MC is honestly too perfect, too Sue, but author-sama set him up as a very...peaceful character who knows how to cherish so it doesn't strike me as annoying. The whole idol talentshow as well, although the program group did something with the votes, but there was no malicious editing, also no... villains/cannonfodders to conflict with. Even in the Weibo reaction chapters, it was mostly about the fight between fans, but there were few mentions of sunspots / overtly black fans. Also in the variety show about the competition between idol groups, they also got along with the other teams cos all of them love music / performing. Again, no demons, cannonfodders or villains. MC gets along with everyone and is very favored. As to whether it was all intentional (MC is a Best Actor), we don't know cos its 3rd person POV. (MC feels like one of those 'protagonists; that QT novels MC has to defeat. Lol)
