My Emotions On Paper

Within this walls🍒

I'm stuck within this walls,
My only means of communication to the outside world through texts and calls.

I took a walk today it was nice to see to see the outside world for the first time in weeks,
Just a brief walk in my neighbourhood gave me a sense of normalcy and peace,
To feel the sand on my feet and smell the flowers on the streets,
It refreshed my spirit and brought back that little beat in my steps.

I miss my friends and family,
I miss their warm hugs and talks,
Now all we can do is wish for this to be over soon and pray to see each other again .

I'm tired of staying within this walls,
I'm tired of this dreadful routine,
I miss my freedom but I know this is for the best ,
I rather be alive to see my friends and family than die of a deadly virus and never see them again.

I think i have finnally run out of shows and movies to watch on Netflix,
Replying text messages this days seem like a chore now and I'm bored everyday .
So many things are going on with the world right now and it's scary.
I really don't understand what this world is turning into and the news breaks my heart everyday.
Why can't we all just treat each other with kindness?
Why are their so many sick and demented minds in this world?
I'm proud of my generation and I love how we are fighting for the change this world desperately needs and I hope we can make this world a better place for future generations.

Today was one of the best days I have had in awhile and I'm happy.

I look forward to other bright days ahead,
To the days when I wake up and the news doesn't make me sick to my stomach,
To the days when I can finnally hang out and hug my friends and family again,
When I can be free and not stuck at home within this walls,
When this quarantine finnally comes to an end,
When this world and society changes for the better,
When 2020 becomes more brighter,
When justice for all is finnally served .
