"john b pulling a houdini!" JJ said, kicking his feet around in the hot tub as he sat next to avani.
"yeah where is he?" kie asked
"i know right- oh speaking of the devil!" avani said, spotting john b walking towards them from the dock.
"hey! i set up the winch for the gold and everything!" JJ said, taking the credit for what pope had did
"no he didn't! i did that!" pope said
"did not! garbage-guts has been eating pancakes all morning! he ate yours!" avani defended.
"hey! john b!" kie shouted, watching him storm through the hard into the house
"what was that all about?" pope and avani said
"i was about to ask you the same question" JJ sighed, climbing out and holding out his hand for avani to follow, the four following john b into the house
"why are you looking for?" kie asked
"what's going on man" JJ asked, watching his bestfriend search for something, shoving things everywhere
"john b, what's going on, talk to us dude!" avani asked
everyone fell silent as he picked up the gun from under the couch, looking at it in his hand before he headed through the house again.
"woah woah woah! get back here, dude what's going on!" avani shouted along with everyone else, trying to get him to stop, pope behind pushed onto the table and JJ being thrown back onto the couch.
"you okay?" avani asked, helping him up.
"yeah" he sighed, following everyone after John b
"what are you JJ now" avani scoffed as he slammed the screen door in her face, the four pushing through after him
"john b what the hell!" kie screamed
"ward knows about the gold! he killed my dad" john b spat out, revving the engine of JJs dirt bike
everyone stood in shock, JJ, pope and kie running after him as he sped off, hoping to stop him from doing something stupid since he was only thinking the worst.
"fuck!" JJ grunted, throwing his hat at the ground.
"shit" avani groaned, running a hand through her hair stressfully.
the four sat around for hours, not getting john b off their minds.
"i think i'm gonna go home" avani sighed, standing all of a sudden and walked outside after saying goodbye
"wait, i'm coming with you" JJ said, jumping in the passenger seat.
they arrived at the thornton's home, nobody being home as her parents were still away and topper was staying at kelces house
