Recently, I've been receiving queries if the rumours that Wattpad will close on May 28, 2020. Ahmm... How many times are we going to go through this? And it's unbelievable that a specific date was mentioned.
Guys, imagine this... My first post here on Debunking Wattpad Rumors is also about Wattpad's shutdown in 2018. But we're way over that period now, and Wattpad still supports solid writers and readers alike.
If Wattpad plans to close down, why would they even release amazing Paid stories or the Dark mode feature? Wouldn't that be such a waste of time and effort on their end?
So to the people spreading the rumor, whether your aim is for misinformation or as a prank, stop. You're not making a positive change in society. Stop spreading fake news.
And if you're scared that Wattpad will disappear on the 28th of May? Chill. That's not happening.
