"Are you going to ever get out of that room of yours?" Exclaimed the eternally young red head fae as she typed away on her startlight phone, most likely finding something - or someone- fun to do on a Friday night. Her long pale fingers moving fast against the thin glass surface as a playful smile danced on her full pink lips.
"I'm not going out tonight A" replied a tired looking brunette as she slowly exited her dark looking room, long hair messily on a bun on top, the bags under her eyes looking as dark as hell itself. The usually angelic face obscured by the countless sleepless hours in front of the monitors of the lab. "I need to finish the research before sunrise or Prof. Meric will have my head on a silver platter."
The fae looked longingly at her half human companion before a deep sigh escaped her. Disappointed filling her expression like a July monsoon. Standing effortlessly from her comfortable spot on the soft sofa and crossing the entire apartment within a few strides of her long legs; no doubt that her fae proportions made the small living quarters even smaller. Her short hair dancing around her face with her every step as her star filled golden eyes took in the blue clear ones of her companion.
"Geovanna Brenna Altis" the fae spoke, her every syllable dipped on mystic fae power, making her friend's own name sound like some sort of enchantment. "You have been working on this 'research' for almost two whole moon cycles. Girl when was the last time you even got laid? As matter of fact, when was the last time you even saw the gods forsaken sun?"
A small smile erupted from Geovanna's now dry lips.
"Aine, hon, this is work. As soon as this is all finish I will go out with you and screw around to my heart's content." She replied softly as her tired body moved forward to plant a small butterfly kiss on her friend's pale cheek. "For now, I will have to suffer for a few more hours while you go out and get fucked stupid."
The fae giggled softly at her friend's choice of words, worry still lingering on her golden eyes for a fraction of second before her starlight phone notified her of an incoming message. Geovanna sighed at the sight of the fae running around the apartment while chirping about a hot vampyr, as she herself headed towards the kitchen. Her body protesting for solid food as she realized that it was well passed the twelve hour mark since her last meal. She scanned the refrigerator, her clear eyes laying on the vegetable dumplings her roommate had made for lunch early that day. It was still better than cooking herself , she thought, as her energy seemed to drain with every passing second.
One more review. It was all that was left to do to make sure everything was in its correct place before summiting the final paper. Before she could finally have a gods damn deserved full night of sleep.
So with dreaded eyes she grabbed the bowl of dumplings and headed back to her room, a silent nod of approval given to Aine as she walked past her now dolled up body.
And with a last deep and tired sigh the half human girl disappeared into the abyss that was now her room.

5 knocks. Hard against the enchanted metal of the front door, echoing like a battle cry against Geovanna tired brain, obligated her almost lifeless body to abandon the warm spot in the large soft bed.
She cursed loudly, at no one in particular, as she felt the every muscle on her body complain.
She had sent out the finished research paper with a sigh of relief before dragging her body into bed less than three hours prior. Her hope for a decent amount of sleep shattering as she slowly headed to the front door.l A quick look to the kitchen countertop informed her that it wasn't even six in the morning yet.
'The gods must certainly hate me', she thought.
"Who is it?" She groaned, one of her delicate hands wavering just above the lock pad as the other combed her messy hair away from her face.
"Tenshi division" spoke a rough male voice from the other side of the thick metal door, "we need to speak with Miss Altis." Those words enough to awaken her brain from the veil of sleep.
If the Angels were at her door something bad must have happened.
She unlocked the door to her apartment as a chill ran down her semi bare back. Nothing good ever came from having a meeting with the gods forsaken angels and she for sure had nowhere enough sleep to be dealing with all of the shit that was for sure going to go down on her small apartment. Her icy blue eyes stared into the two tall figures that stood on the relatively small archway; the spam of their wings making the two males even taller. One of the angels greeted her with a blank expression, his long blonde locks brushing just above his cold silver eyes, while the second didn't look up from his starlight phone which illuminated his pale skin and the void of his eyes.
"Come in" she muttered as her body moved aside, granting passage to the intimidating creatures she thought would never have to interact with ever again. The cold air that kissed her body as the males walked past her suddenly reminding her of her lack of decent clothing. "Please give me a second to dress myself, you can wait in the living room if you please."She said, earning a doubtful look from the blond male, her now shaking hand pointing at the couch which she now wondered was big enough for both males to sit on. Geovanna didn't even dare to wait for their responses as she closed the door shut and directed herself over to her room.
Her brain formulating the thousands reason why the male angels needed to speak with her at the break of dawn.
