Chapter:15 (Part 2)

My brother was waving the box in front of me for juicy details and not only him but everyone were copying his reaction. I just rubbed my fingers over the side of my face and groaned.

"It is not what you are thinking, duh". I told him. But by the look they were giving was clear they weren't believing me and that was making me annoyed.

"Okay before jumping to conclusions can you give me chance to explain what it is, bitches". I told them with a fake annoyed look.

"Okay the thing is this is a pendant which is being gifted to me by a friend". I simply told them.

"And may we know who this friend and why did this friend gave you this 'expensive' gift". My brother Yash enquired air quoting the word expensive for emphasis.

"He is a colleague and a very close friend of mine and he gave me as a farewell gift and whereas the question comes to be an 'expensive' gift I told him that there was no need for it but he insisted so I gave in with his request". I told them emphasing the word expensive and shrugged.

"Missy, stop shrugging and tell us everything because we know there is more to the story so spill the beans". Meet said while clicking his tongue.

"Okay so", I dragged the vowel a bit and took a deep breath and said it in a one breath "thispersonlikesmelikealotandgaveitasafar ewellgiftthoughItoldhimnobutheinsisted". And took a breath.

"Happy". I said him with a sarcastic smile and got up by making my way to kitchen because I knew they didn't understand anything and will be asking many questions to me.

As I got up I was again pulled down by my over protective brothers and literally held me by my waist and said, "We ain't over explain us everything". My brother Meet demanded.

"Okay okay but first leave me I will tell you everything". I said with an annoyed expression.

My brother left me and turned my face towards them and took a deep breath and said, "First of all you people are not going to interrupt me in the middle and you can speak at the end okay". I told them sternly. "Actually today was the last day of my job over here and so I just had to go there to complete the last formalities and everything after doing those this guy his name is Aadil he told me that he has feelings for me and he likes me like alot he even said that he didn't tell me because when I returned here after graduation I was devastated and he knew that so he didn't say this to me and pushed his feelings away thinking it was just a crush but they never went away and today was the last day so he told me everything so that he can move and all". I told them everything and at the last I sighed.

"Oh yeah devastated". My sister said under her breath so that everyone can hear with a scoff with the sarcasm which by the way everyone heard and looked at me acussingly knowing I was hiding something from them and now it will be a death of me when they are going to learn about Tyler.

I narrowed my eyes at my sister and she squirmed a bit I just sighed and told, "Okay but don't kill me later on please".

"It is okay, Tina you don't need to tell us". My cousin cut me off.

"No Pri, you all have right to know this". I sighed and continued, and told them everything from the start how we met, how me and him became friends, how we became bestfriends and how I started having feelings for him and than when I was coming back we confessed each other our feelings and how we went on a date the last night of my stay there and by the time I finished my eldest brother Meet hugged me and swiped the tear off my face with the pads of his fingers which I had not notice until he he wiped the tears.

I got up from there and went to kitchen to drink water when I turned my back again towards the drawing room all my cousins gathered me in a hug and consoled me.

After breaking the hug I told them, "You guys are not telling anyone about this I don't want mumma and dad or anyone from our family get hurt".

"Tina, not to push my nose in your business but I guess you should tell them how you feel about him". Preeti told me.

"Pree, it is not about business or anything but they will not accept him and another reason he might have moved on I have cut all the threads from there and you remember I changed my number and discontinued my old Instagram account it was because of the same reason I can't". I told her.

"Tia, you are hurting yourself and why don't you contact him once you reach there". Preeti said.

"Let's see what time holds for me". I told her earnestly.

"C'mon I will heat up the food and call grandma and ask them where are they". I told my cousin with a chuckle.

I was glad no one talked about the topic anymore and it was forgotten.

After grandma and gramps came back home we had our dinner with banter and jokes and all laughter.

"Gramps, your reports are to be collected tomorrow morning by 10 and then I have already booked an appointment with the doctor so you can meet him and at that time I will call you after the appointment." I reminded my gramps.

"What reports?" Raj asked.

I was about to speak but Meet cut me off and said, "Regular checkups, duh". And rolled his eyes.

To which Raj just nodded his head in understanding and glared at Meet for the eye rolls he gave him.

"Okay okay, enough of the banter". I cut both of them.

Remainder of the dinner was just pulling of each other's leg and light chatter. After dinner Krishika and Preeti helped me with the choco lava cakes and Raj, Yash and Meet helped my grandma with the dishes and clearing the table.

After everything was done we were having our dessert and were watching the old pictures and videos and then we all left and said our byes to our grandparents.

They got a bit emotional but they made me a promise that I would call them everyday and the regular stuff like taking care of myself and eating my food on time.

When we reached our home it was around 11:30 pm so I just washed my face and didn't bother to change because I booked a cab so I thought it would be better if I just wore my pyjamas so I directly hit the bed.

As I wasn't in the mood to pack anything so I decided that I would start doing it tomorrow.

I tossed and turned for a bit and tried to sleep and I didn't know when the sleep came to me.

So, I am back again and yes the previous chapter was almost 3000 words and I didn't wanted to stretch so I broked up into two parts and this is around 1500 words so it is pretty much shorter than the previous one.
