Lee Taeyong had a flair. One that was finally purely academical, he was pleased to say, and that was failing his Literature class with flying colours. His grades for the elective always left his teachers in dumbstruck silence, despite it being almost three semesters now.

Unlike the rest of his repeating classmates, he knew exactly why he was failing the class, and that was because he had absolutely no interest whatsoever in the subject. He hated languages with his whole heart, body, mind and soul and Literature was basically, well, language on cocaine.

But he still came for every single damn class the elective demanded him to, because he was genuinely concerned for his attendance grade. The only thing he was active about keeping up. Nevermind if his subject grades were not distinctions, as long as his attendance grade was fabulous, he had nothing to worry about.

"Before I end the lesson, i would like to address the rumours regarding the analysis presentation project on the Macbeth due at the end of the month."

Ah. That project. Taeyong almost scoffed aloud. The syllabus truly repeats itself, huh? He'd done that shit every semester and failed every single time. Truly a disappointment.

"It is very much true and I have assigned your project buddies. The pairing list is at the door," the lecturer grinned. "The passing grade is 80%, so i expect all of you to put in a 101% of your effort into this. All the best, kids."

A series of angry protests and cries followed after the lecturer as he ducked out of the lecture theatre and into the vast corridor, blending into the sea of depressed University students.

"Another project?"

"Due at the end of the month!"

"80% is the passing grade? Is he out of his damn mind?"

"He's never going to assign us together-"

The Lee boy rolled his eyes and pulled up his pullover's sleeves as his classmates scrambled to the door, whining and grumbling.

"Lee Taeyong?" came a cool voice from the row beside him.

He turned with an arched brow.

"We're paired together," the source of the voice said, packing her pens and notebooks into her messenger bag.

Taeyong raised his other brow, "I don't believe you've checked the list, Kwon."

The girl inclined her head, "I do believe we are the only two who've not been approached by those who've seen the list."

This time it was the bleached haired boy's turn to incline his head. "Which scene would you like to work on then?"

Kwon Seulgi stroked her chin wistfully. "Act 1, Scene 1 would be perfect for this, don't you think?"
