Family reunion

Frost's POV
It's been a week now since I've woke up in hospital, I'm not quite sure what happened, my memory is all over the place, I do remember Asriel saying something but I just can't remember
"Hey, when can I leave?" I asked the nurse
"Today at 12, right now you have visitors" the nurse said, I glanced at the clock, 10:46 two hours of waiting, but hey I have visitors, "it's probably just Asriel, Chara and Frisk" I thought, it wasn't,
"No, no no no, why?" I asked
"Frost, how are you my son?" A figure asked me
"I don't wanna talk to you!" I yelled
"Ah saying that to your dad is not very nice now, is it?"
"Like you beating me? Stabbing me if I made your life a minor inconvenience?" I asked
"Listen, you have two options, option 1 is refuse to come home and watch your 'Family' die, or two, come home with us and you will kill them at your own free will" my father told me through gritted teeth
"MAKE YOUR DECISION NOW!"
"I have, now leave, before I hurt you!" I yelled as my father stumbled out
Time skip to 12 o'clock
Asriel and Asgore came to pick me up, I was still shaken at my father's appearance
"Hey Frost are you alright? You look pale" Asriel asked me, I could hear the fear in his voice
"I'm fine Azzy, just promise me you won't go anywhere near my dad", Asgore looked at me
"Oh, not you, my... real dad, the one I hate" I said looking away, we reached the house and Frisk hugged me before I got in the house
"Hey, are you alright?" I asked
"Of course, now that you're here!" Frisk teased, I heard a bit of flirting in her tone
"Hey, Azzy?" I heard Chara whisper, I tried to ignore it but I over heard her talking about me, I couldn't help but feel the anger burn up inside me
"I don't think Frost is ok, can you ask him, he trusts you the most out of anyone" Chara whispered as I glanced over
"Hey Frost?" Asriel asked with his hand on the back of his neck, I sighed
"I know I haven't been acting myself lately but I'm fine, there's nothing to worry about" I said, Asriel looked stunned, he quickly turned and entered our room, Frisk was looking at me with a worried expression, I'd seen it before and I knew what it meant
"I'm ok, really" I said as I checked on Asriel
"Hey Azzy, I know you're worried about-" I was cut off by Asriel
"Then tell me what's wrong, please", I looked at Asriel, tears forming in his eyes, I sat down next to him
"I'm scared alright, my dad came to see me today, he gave me two options both result in your deaths" Asriel stared at me
"So, you're gonna kill us?" Asriel said now in tears
"What, no of course not, I couldn't live with myself if I did" I reassured Asriel
"The options were, I stay with you and he kills all of us, or I go with him and I kill you, and right now, I don't know what to do" I said, Asriel looked at me, he saw tears in my eyes and pulled me into a hug
"I don't know what to do" I said as I buried myself into his scarf, Chara opened the door and rushed over to us
"What happened?" She asked Asriel
"His dad, he wants us dead and he wants Frost to do it" Asriel said as I stopped, I started to chuckle, tears still in my eyes
"If he hurts any of you, what am I meant to do?" I asked
"Time for bed!" Toriel said, I got up and thanked Asriel for listening to my worries
"Any time" Asriel said as his phone rang, he answered it and after a back and forth conversation he passed his phone to me
"Hello sweetheart" a voice I recognized
"Who is this?" I asked knowing what to expect
"Your mother, I want you to come back to me and your brother" she said
"No, you are DEAD to me, just like I was to you!" I yelled, everyone bursting through the door
"You left me with dad, and he abused me, not like you would do any different!"
"Listen here sweetie-"
"Don't sweetie me, were done talking" I said
"Now listen here, I'm coming to get you, pack your stuff now!" My mother said
"I HATE YOU!" I yelled as I hung up and tossed Asriel's phone back to him before summoning my sword and walking into my bathroom, I stayed there for a few seconds and raised my sword, I paused as I heard pounding on my door and Frisk yelling my name, I raised my sword a little higher before remembering everything I had said and promised myself and everyone else, I dropped my sword and fell to my knees sobbing, Frisk eventually gave up and leant against the door, I composed myself and unlocked the door and opened it to Frisk hugging me, I saw Chara who wasn't looking to good
"What happened?" I asked as Frisk started to go quiet
"We, we thought you were gonna cut yourself" Asriel asked as he helped Chara to her bed, I glanced down to see Frisk asleep, I sighed and carried her to her bed, I passed Asriel and said "The though crossed my mind" as I placed Frisk on her bed and tucked her in, I saw a slight smile cross her face and I left
"Anyway, I'm probably not gonna get to sleep, I'm just gonna stare at the stars" I said as a car pulled up and I saw someone get out
"Oh, shit this isn't good" I said as someone pounded at the door, Toriel rushed to answer it but was shoved out of the way when she opened it, a kid kicked her and smirked
"Frost, get your ass in the car now" A drunken woman screeched
"What makes you think you have any authority over me" I said, Asriel looked at me as my brother advanced on him, I saw what I thought was a switchblade and rushed over to protect Asriel, my brother went to stab Asriel but I took the blow in the right side of my stomach, I curled up in pain as my brother started kicking me
"This is what you deserve!" He said as Asriel punched him
"Azzy, leave it" I said as I stumbled to my feet, I caught my brothers swing and started to squeeze his fist, I heard his knuckles crack and I started to smile, I twisted his hand to disarm him and punched him, he left and got back in the car, my mother still screaming didn't notice police were right outside and she was put in cuffs, she managed to get out and pulled a hand gun out of her bag and aimed it at Asriel, she pulled the trigger and the bullet flew, I got up and shoved him out of the path of the bullet, but it hit me in the right shoulder, I was hit and the force made me fall back into a wall and slide down it, I clutched my shoulder as Asriel helped me in anyway I could, my mother was arrested and taken away
"Huh, that's not how I saw the night going" I said smiling "Were going to need adoption papers so I'm legally one of your children, I'm NOT going back to them" I said
"Of course, we still need to find your parents" Asgore said looking at Frisk and Chara who were woke up by the sound of a gunshot, before anyone knew it our neighbours were asking if everybody was ok, I groaned in pain as Asriel tried to get the bullet out of my shoulder "Don't bother, I'll get it out later, just get some rest ok?" I said as one of the neighbors called an ambulance, 'unfortunately' there were not available as they were all busy
"Thank god" I said under my breath as I got some tweezers and started feeling for the bullet, I eventually found it and pulled it out, blood followed "Great" I said as I went to get my bag
"What happened?" Frisk asked
"Oh just a casual meet up with my mum" I said as I got some bandages and patched myself up
"There all better" I said to myself, I went to sleep and waited for morning
The next day
I woke up and saw Asriel rubbing his eye
"Morning" Asriel said
"Morning, how did you sleep? I asked still in pain
"Meh, How about you?" Asriel said
"Uh blood is not nice to sleep in, I'm off for a shower" I said as I walked into my bathroom.
After I got out I dried my bottom half and put my trousers on, I walked into my room and saw Chara and Frisk waiting
"Where's Azzy at?" I asked with my towel over my head
"He went for a shower, put your top on" Chara said "I don't wanna see your six pack, I don't know about Frisk though" Chara teased
"Shut up!" Frisk said as she blushed
"What are you to in here for anyway, don't tell me it's just to see us two" I said, as I looked at my scars, Frisk noticed and asked
"Why do you have so many scars?"
"Well I guess it's the type of person I am, I protect people and I pay the price, that's why I have so many" I lied, most of them were from my family, a few from the fall into the underground and a few from a car crash when I was young, I shook my head and put my top on and grabbed my jacket, Frisk was trying to touch my hair but she was smaller than me so I dropped down to her level
"Alright I know I'm small" she sighed
"Sometimes that's a good thing" I joked, I felt my expression drop and I tried to stay happy but I just couldn't, "too much stuff has happened and I just can't take it" I thought as I walked into the kitchen where I saw Asriel eating cereal
"You enjoying that?" I Asked
"It's alright, you want some?" Asriel asked me, I shook my head and grabbed an apple
"Nah I'll have this, I'm not that hungry anyway" I said as I took a bite, it was sweeter than what I used to have "are these sweeter, or have I just not had one for ages?" I asked my self, Frisk walked in and put some bread in the toaster, Chara popped her head in "Can you put a slice in for me Frisk?" She asked as Frisk placed another slice in
"Yeah" she replied
"Thanks!" Chara said as she left
"Huh, I wonder what she's doing" Asriel asked as he returned to his cereal
"Shouldn't you know? I mean youuu actually I'm not gonna say that" I said as Asriel glared at me, his eye glowing purple
"Say it, I dare you" Asriel said
"Are you challenging me?" I said
"I... dare you" Asriel said again
"Alright, shouldn't you know cause, ya know, you two are together?" I asked, Asriel lunged for me, I simply teleported to the side as he fell flat on his face
"You dared me to" I said as I shrugged "I'm off for a walk anyway" I said
"I'll join you" Asriel said, we left and went to the park
"Azzy, I have a question about when I died" I asked, Asriel looked at me and then the floor
"I don't wanna talk about it, I did so many things that I'm ashamed of, Sans should've killed me" Asriel said, I looked at him
"Sorry I brung it up, just forget I asked"
"No ask the question" Asriel said
"How long were we dead?". Asriel looked at me
"You were dead for about a year, maybe a month more, why?"
"So I'm 16 and so is everyone else" I said
"Yeah, pretty much, I mean your seventeenth is like next week so" Asriel said
"What the, I'm gonna be 17 in a week? Holy shit, how long am I out at hospitals?" I asked in amazement
"Well why do you think mom and dad are always out, there buying gifts for you" Asriel said, I looked down
"They shouldn't, I'm not a Dreemurr, I'm not like you" I said
"What do you mean, you're not a Dreemurr, of course you are, you're my brother" he said
"Wow is that, the prince of monsters?" A kid exclaimed
"Oh boy, sorry Azzy, nothing I can do about this one" I say
"Don't worry, I'm used to it" Asriel said back
"Are you prince Dremurr?" One of the kids asked
"Which one?" Asriel asked back, I slowly turned to Asriel and said
"Really Azzy? They wanna see you not me!"
"Wait are you also a prince?" One of them asked me, I was about to answer before
"Yes, he is" Asriel said
"No way, can you do magic?"
I sighed, "Well things can't get much worse" I thought
"Yes, I can" I said
"Can you teach us?", I was shocked at what they asked
"I don't think he can" Asriel said
"Can we get a picture with youu?" They asked
"You can get one with him, just not me" I said and they agreed, I took the photo and the kids ran off in excitement, Asriel turned to me
"It's quite cold out huh?"
"Listen Azzy, you are literally 200% body hair, stop complaining alright?" I said
"I guess you're right, it's not even winter" Asriel said as we walked home, it was still relatively early so we talked to Frisk and Chara, As we were talking Chara started to cough, it got noticeably worse
"Hey Chara, are you alright, that's a really bad cough" Asriel said
"I'll be fine, it's nothing" Chara said
"No it's not, that's real bad, you need to go to the doctor" I said, Chara stayed quiet until she coughed again, this time blood came out and she began to collapse, me and Asriel caught her and Asriel put his hand on her forehead
"She's got a really bad temperature" Asriel said
"Asriel, can you do ANYTHING?" I asked in a serious tone
"I don't think I can, I don't know how to deal with this" Asriel said
"Ok, ok call mom and I'll see if I can do anything now" I said as I tried to heal Chara, a green glow came from my hand and it covered Chara
"Right mom is on her way, she said just drink some water and rest"
"Got it" I said as I lifted Chara up with my magic, I laid her on the couch as Frisk got Chara some water. Moments later Toriel burst through the door, and put her hand on Chara's forehead
"You said she was coughing up blood?" Toriel asked
"Yeah also something that looked yellow earlier" Frisk said, I dropped to the floor in shock
"Oh no, oh god no this isn't good!" I said as Everyone looked at me, I saw the look in Toriel's eyes, she knew what it was
"Buttercup fever?" I asked, Toriel sadly nodded
"I lost a friend to it, I don't wanna lose another" I said
"There is no known cure for it and everyone who gets it" She stopped
"Azzy, I'm scared" Chara said
"Don't worry, mom you can help her can't you?" Asriel asked sounding scared
"I'm afraid not, I'm sorry" Toriel said crying
"No, but I know someone who can, where's Dr Gaster?" I asked
"In his lab" Sans said, I looked at him in shock
"I can take you there if you want" Sans said
"Yes, please" I said as Sans teleported us both to Gaster
"What is the meaning of this intrusion Sans?" Gaster said as he was experimenting with something
"Frost has a question" Sans said
"Well then let's hear it" Gaster said rather frustrated
"Do you think there is a cure for buttercup fever?" I asked as both Sans and Gaster stopped
"Why do you ask?" Gaster said now interested
"We think Chara has it, I've lost a friend to it before, and I don't intend to lose another to it" I said firmly
"You are loyal to those you care for, I must see if she has the symptoms of it, then I will decide if I can make a cure depending on how serious the symptoms are" Gaster said as he teleported all of us back home, Gaster walked over to Chara who was coughing uncontrollably, Gaster stopped and his eyes shrunk
"I'm sorry, there's nothing we can do, these symptoms are, the last stages before death" he said in shock
"Asriel, tell me they are lying" Chara said weakly, Asriel started to cry as he hugged Chara
"Please, I don't want to die" she said
"I'm not gonna let you" Asriel said
"Neither am I, if you don't find a cure,then I will" I said as I exposed my soul
"NO! If you cut your Soul again you will die, You already succeeded once, why do you need to again? To become famous?" Gaster yelled
"NO, TO SAVE MY FRIEND!" I yelled back, my eye glowing, I turned and left
"I need to find Alphys" I said as I teleported to where she normally would be
"Alphys?" I yelled
"Aghhh, why did you do that Frost?" Alphys asked
"Good, you're here, I have a question"
"Oh boy, what is it?"
"Do you think you could make a cure for buttercup fever?", Alphys stopped
"The one that has a 100% kill rate?"
"Yes"
"M-M-Maybe" she stuttered "but, why?" She asked
"Chara has it, and I'm not gonna let her die"
Asriel's POV
"Please Chara just hang in there, it's gonna be alright" I said holding back tears, I think everyone knows I have feelings for Chara, especially Frost, he knows
"Azzy?"
"I'm still here, I'm not going anywhere" I said still knelt beside her
"Am, I really gonna die?" I heard Chara say weakly
"No, no you're not, I promise" I said, "Great I've just lied to her for no reason" I thought
"Azzy?"
"Yes, what is it?" I asked
"Can, can I wear your scarf?" Chara asked looking at me with all the strength she had left
"Of course" I said giving her my scarf
"I think I'm just going to have a nap" Chara said slowly shutting her eyes
"No, you have to stay awake" I said
"Frisk get Chara some water, please" I said a single tear rolling down my cheek
"Yeah sure" Frisk said hurrying to the kitchen
"Frost, hurry up, she doesn't have long left" I said to myself
"Azzy? Please, don't let me die" Chara said in tears
"I'm not going to, I promise, I need to call Frost I'll be right back I promise.

Frost's POV (before Asriel call's him)
"Nothing. Fucking. Works" I yelled
"I was afraid this would happen" Alphys said
"You don't understand, all I've done is mistakes" I said, I looked over to see one last test tube
"Fuck it, I have to at least try" I said as I summoned my sword and cut my arm enough for blood do spill out, I took a sample and added it to the mixture knowing what to expect, I expected it to fail but after a few moments it settled, it was a success
"I-Impossible, how?"
"I don't care, but it works!" I said as I heard my phone vibrate
"Hello?" I asked, it was Asriel
"P-please can you come over here, it's Chara, we don't know how long she has left" Asriel said
"Is the coughing that bad?"
"She's not just coughing, Frost she's dying" Asriel said through tears
"I'm on my way", I hung up and thanked Alphys for staying with me
"N-no problem" she said as I teleported back with the cure
"Frost, she doesn't have long, you wasted your time" Gaster said
"Not entirely" I said as I held a test tube of the cure
"Impossible, how?", I didn't care to answer, I walked up to Asriel and smiled, he knew it would be ok, everyone was in dispare
"Here, take this, it'll help" I said
"A-are you sure?"
"I'm positive" I said as Chara drank the cure
"Now it'll take a while but the coughing should die down" I said as Gaster pulled me aside
"HOW?" Gaster yelled
"Thank DR Alphys, she helped a lot" I said
"No, how could you be so careless?" Dr Gaster yelled
"Listen, I didn't just waste my time chasing a fairy tale just to be yelled at alright? My life has been hell, no one else deserves to live that life" I said nearly breaking down into tears
"Frost?" Asriel yelled, I darted to him to see the color in Chara's face slowly reappear
"I think it's working!" Asriel said in tears of joy
"Huh, guess I don't always make mistakes" I said

A few day later
Chara's coughs had died down a lot but I would always check on her just to make sure, so many sleepless nights, so many doubts about that damn antidote but now Chara's cough has died down I can finally sleep, Kinda, I still get doubts it will fully work but right now, I couldn't care, I have too much going on, I may of saved Chara's life, but for how long

Asriel:"Hey Frost?"
Frost:"Yeah?"
Asriel:"Thank you, thank you so much"
Frost:"Huh, I'm not the one to thank Azzy, Alphys is the one to thank"
Asriel:"Really?"
Frost:"Yeah, I did nothing"
Asriel just glared at me
"You saved her life!" Asriel yelled, Chara walked in looking better but worse then anything
"Chara? Did you sleep at all?" I asked
"Not exactly" she said nearly dozing off on Asriel who caught her
"Woah, easy, Frost help me she needs to get back to bed" Asriel said
"Yeah, definitely" I said in agreement as we helped Chara to bed
"What are you two doing?" Asgore asked
"We're helping Chara to bed" Asriel said
"Why? It's half 10"
"She didn't sleep last night" I said as we placed her on her bed
"Azzy, please don't leave me" Chara mumbled
"I'd stay here with her Azzy, just call me if you need anything" I said, I walked into my room when I heard my phone ring
"Hello?"
"Hey there Son? Remember what I said to you in the hospital?"
"You? You did this to Chara?"
"Yes, and there's a lot more for that Asriel or whatever he's called, it's going to be a lot worse for him"
"Listen here-" I couldn't finish my sentence
"Sup kiddo?" Sans said
"Sans, something really bad happened"
"Fill me in" Sans said
"You know my dad?"
"Asgore?"
"No, my other dad"
"Oh yeah, what about him?"
"He tried to kill Chara with the buttercup fever"
"He WHAT!" Sans yelled as his eye began to glow
"I think, I think he's going after Asriel next" I said in fear
"Listen I gotta go but if he tries anything just call ok?"
"Got it"
Sans teleported away and Frost entered Chara's room to see Asriel staring right at him
"Is your dad trying to kill me next?"
