I like the new year. It's like a fresh start every 300 or so days.
A new start to a new year. No more looking in the past.
It's about the future now.
I like how we're all spending New Years eve together.

I like the way puppies are so innocent, waggling their tales.
I like the way trees smell in the spring.

I like how new books smell, or new cars.
I like how new released songs sound like.

I like the way the sun shines to lit up another day.
I like the way the moon tries to light up the night.

I like how everyone is dressed up so nicely.
I like how the boys try to be here for us, for each other.

I like the way Pippa's eyes light up when the doorbell rang.
I like the way the smiles we all wear the whole day.

I like how Danielle's belly is growing every day.
I like how Kevin looks at her with loving eyes.

I like where we all are now. We've all grown this last year.
I like how our ups and downs push us to go forward.

It's the small things that are supposed to make us happy.

I like the way our sibling bond is. It's so strong.
I love our parents, despite the 'I hate my parents' phase we all have.

I like how we've grown stronger over the past year.
It's been a real roller coaster to be honest.

I thought they were never going to speak to us again.
It's the little hope I had that everything would be okay.

I like how we can go out and meet up with friends.
I like that I can go to school. Education is important after all.

I like how cats purr when you pet them.
I find it fascinating how a chameleon can change its color to be invisible.

I love my favorite outfit to wear.
I like it when my favorite series gets a new season.

I like receiving a package I'd been waiting for.
I like how happy you can be when you find money you forgot you had.

I like the relieved feeling when a horrible time is in the past.
I like how simple it is to make a friend. Take Joe and Philippine for example.

I like how time can prove me wrong when I don't have enough faith in myself.
I like how I believed my mom when she told me I am loved.

I like the way my brothers put everything into their music.
I like the way Pippa closes her eyes while listening to music.

I like the newness of new clothes and shoes.
I like hearing kids laugh when playing peek a boo.

I like the responses the fans give my brothers on social media.
I like how their career is truly taking off after their break.

I like the crackling sound of a campfire.
To sing songs and tell scary stories.

I like getting days off from school.
I like taking a nap whenever I feel like taking one.

I like lazy Sundays.
I like how I can do whatever I want on a free day.

I like watching the world go by from a moving vehicle.
I like thinking about life and about what the future might have in store for me.

I like the smell of cooking.
I like the smell of baking.
Or the smell of dessert.

I like the twinkle in Pippa's eyes when she laughs.
I like how I can make her laugh.

I like how I can cheer her up when she's been upset.
I like how my brothers are there for me when I need them.

I like the sibling banter when we play around.
I like how we can barely function without our siblings.
I blame our parents for that.

I like waking up early, just to sleep in.
I like the smell of clean sheets.

I like looking at old pictures.
I like listening to songs I haven't heard in a while.

I like when I have it right when I obviously guessed.
I like it when I finished all my work for the day.

I like to be optimistic when I can.
It makes life better. We have one life.
We can choose how to spend it.

I like the first bite of a good meal.
Or the sip of a good beverage.
Knowing there's so much left of it to enjoy.

I like the fireworks we are about to watch.
I like the way the clock is going to hit twelve o' clock.

I like the way it will hit the year 2014.
The year I get a niece or nephew.

I like how Kevin and Danielle made up a plan to tell us the sex of the baby.
I like singing in the rain. Totally random, I know.

I like how I sometimes drop things without braking or scratching anything.
I like to game with my friends.

I like to help someone when I can help them.
I like to be useful when I can.

I like how each year I will grow a year older.
I like how I will turn fourteen this year.

I like waking up just before my alarm so I can turn it off before it goes off.
I like getting compliments after I did something right.

It's so surreal to think that everyone can hear their songs all over the world.

I like melted cheese on a pizza.
I like pizza in general. It's so good!

I like having a crush on a girl I can't reach.
I like thinking about my future family. What I will do for them.

I like getting a smile from a stranger on the streets.
At least not everyone is grumpy.

I like how we're all wishing each other a happy new year right now.
I like how I can't have alcohol, that I use hot chocolate with little marshmallows to toast to the new year!
