Beep Beep

Yoora's eyes opened, alert and ready. She switched off the alarm and silently made her way to the bathroom to shower. It was currently 4.45 in the morning. She had some business that she needed to take care of. After showering, she donned a black T-shirt and shorts. Grabbing her phone, she soundlessly made her way out of the dorms, taking her snapback from the wall rack behind the door.

She hurriedly walked away from the building, tucking her hair under the snapback as she did so. Looking around for suspicious persons, she briskly walked to a car that was parked at the corner of the street. Worn and run down, the door of the car creaked from disuse, as she slid into the passenger seat.

"Can we please go somewhere else?" Yoora asked, eyes constantly moving, worried that they would get caught.

"It's been a year since I last saw you and this is how you greet me?" Geumjae asked, amused. Nonetheless, he started driving. They drove, away from the dorms, until Yoora told him to pull over to a park that was considerably far away from dangerous, prying eyes.

They both exited the car, strolling through the tall grass. Sitting at a wooden bench, Yoora sighed. Geumjae slumped onto the bench, beside her.

"How have you been, Geu?" she asked, looking over at the man.

"Could be better, really... And respect me, I'm older than you!" he exclaimed.

"I'm not calling you that word. It's disgusting," Yoora grimaced. Geu laughed at her expression. She kicked the grass near her feet, a contemplating look in her eyes.

"What are you thinking about?" Geu asked softly.

"I don't know, It's just... It's been  15 years since I left... and... do you really think that they'll accept me?" she asked, her face open and vulnerable for once.

Geu sighed in exasperation.

"Of course, they will. They've been waiting since the day you left. Especially Yeonjun..." he said with a teasing smile. Yoora groaned at the mention of the boy.

"By the way, when are you coming to meet everyone?" he asked. She shrugged before replying, "Maybe this weekend... Trisha and Rui Ya have to be there too."

The sky was becoming lighter as the sun continued rising, waiting for no one. Yoora looked at her phone, surprised to see that an hour had already flown by. It was nearly 6.15.

"I should get going, someone might be up already..." she muttered.

"Why are you so worried? You make it sound like we are star-crossed lovers or some shit," Geu smirked, a hint of humour dancing in his eyes. She scowled,

"Or some shit... Geu, I do not need questions from anyone about what I was doing up so early... And your brother seems to have almost remembered me...He keeps on staring at me..." Geu laughed at that.

"He's always been sharp. Alright, I think we should leave. I spoke to Bang PD yesterday, he said that he was going to officially introduce you 3 to the staff. So for God's sake dress up in something that isn't black and denim... You look good in those, not going to lie, but the last thing we need is unwanted attention from men in the company," he spoke.

"I don't have anything other than that..." Yoora muttered.

"I know, that's why I bought you some clothes. Well not some, quite a bit actually... That and I got those two a few things as well. The stuff is all labelled so yeah..." Geu said as he opened the boot of the car to reveal three bags, 0ne noticeably bigger than the other 2.
