"Um probably, sounds right. I think that's what's going on with Old Lace and Gert"

"See your smart" Chase compliments her but Luna just shakes her head.

It was hard for Luna to believe that she was smart, as to her growing up everyone who was labeled smart was kids that were 'gifted', good at math, have excellent grades and know/use the vocabulary that doctors, lawyers, and Nobel winners use. Luna didn't know any of those words, she didn't like using big words because it made her feel out of place.

"I will get a full REM cycle of sleep if you do something for me," Luna tells Chase making him sit up straight to look at her with an eyebrow raised

Luna couldn't help but laugh before saying, "There is this one thing you do that never fails to make me smile"

"Which is?" Chase asks making Luna turn towards him allowing for her blanket to fall on her lap

"Your dimples, well your smile"

At Luna's words, all Chase could do was smile not because he wanted her to go to sleep but because her words made him smile, she made him happy.

In the morning Gert seemed to be doing better as she was lucid but Old Lace was still roaring and screeching. Karolina and Molly were trying to lock Old Lace in a room so she wouldn't hurt anyone. The only problem was being that they weren't able to close the door with Old Lace running into it. 

"She doesn't sound good," Karolina says as Gert wakes up and slowly sits up on the bed only to hunch over to the side in pain making Luna pay all her attention to Gert 

"Hey, it's okay," Luna tells Gert as she looks at Luna placing her hands on the purple-headed shoulders who was breathing deeply in pain

"It hurts. It hurts" Gert moans but doesn't elaborate making Luna let go of her not wanting her touch to be the reason she was in pain

"Where the hell are Nico and Wilder?!" Chase shouts from his spot next to Luna just as Alex and Nico walk through the door with a bag in hand

"Got every stomach medicine they had. Something's gotta help" Alex says walking towards the bed as they had been assigned with going to the store in search for medicine that Luna had made a list of

"And if it doesn't, I've got this" Nico says handing a dark brown bag to Chase who was standing up

"Woah. What is this?" Chase asks looking down at a brown bad-smelling bag tied halfway that didn't seem to have come from a store

"A Wiccan charm bag" Nico vaguely explains but at everyone's confused stares elaborates "Just put it under her pillow. It'll encourage good health. It's pungent but powerful"

Chase hands the charm bag to Luna and she quickly places it under Gert's pillow without smelling it making Alex speak up, "You do realize we're trying to make her less sick, right?"

"Do something!" Molly shouts over Old Lace's roars as Gert groans in pain

"I am not a doctor!" Luna shouts standing up feeling suffocated as all eyes had been on her since Gert had gotten sick. While normally she would know what to do to help Gert this was new territory that she had no knowledge of "I don't know what to do! And Old Lace isn't helping!"

"Guys, calm down," Nico says knowing that they couldn't be at each other's throat, especially not the sisters

"We're all worried about them, okay? But let's not turn on each other" Karolina chimes in being on Nico's side
