The Yorke's are dropping Molly, Gert, and Luna off at Atlas Academy, their high school. All five of them packed in a minivan, the three teens in the backseat had their earbud in one ear while the other one just hanged

"You okay?" Luna hears Gert ask making her turn her head to see Gert had asked Molly who looked ill as she sat in the middle seat with her pink clothes, making her stand out next to the two girls who sat next to her in neutral-toned color clothes

"No. I feel really weird" Molly replies while softly shaking her head making Luna feel concerned for the fourteen-year-old as she was going through her menstrual cycle

"Oh, Molly, sweetie, we had this talk. Menstruation's a blessing, not a curse. You just do your breathing exercises and drink the chamomile tea I put in your thermos" Stacey, Gert's mom, says as she turns to face Molly with a supportive smile and then moves back to facing forward "If that doesn't work, go to the bathroom and give yourself an orgasm"

"Mom, seriously?" Gert says slightly disgusted while Luna looks out the window with wide eyes whispering 'oh my stars'. No matter how long she had known the Yorkes their comments breaking all social restraints took the brunette by surprise

"The oxytocins are a natural pain reliever," Stacey says as if telling a fourteen-year-old to give oneself an orgasm was normal advice. While in reality society restraints from telling young girls what an orgasm is

"It is good advice" Dale, Gert's dad who sat in the driver's seat says making Luna's eyes widen once again having yet to get used to the Yorke's quirks. Luna raises her hand to place the earbud resting on her lap into her ear not wanting to listen to the direction the conversation was going in.

As Luna listened to her indie music playlist calming her nerves for a new day at school, Molly shared with everyone how the dance tryouts were today. To which Gert made a comment about the way dance reinforces hegemonic masculinity while marginalizing women's identity, the activist wasn't wrong but it didn't discourage Molly. Molly didn't take any offense to the comment and just replied back with a bright smile how she likes the outfits. Stacey then reminds Gert about her new meds that were in her backpack, which didn't have as many side effects nor would they leave Gert to be constipated. Once Dale hears that his little girl might be a bit backed up he offers her some bran bars

Not a moment later the minivan parks at the drop off zone making the teen open the side doors to get out of the car. Luna is the one who wanted to get out of the car the quickest so she opens her door, gets out with her backpack in hand, and closes the door with a quick goodbye to the Yorke parents. Luna then walks over to the sidewalk where Gert and Molly stood waiting for her.

Right away Gert took out some different colored flyers from her bag and started to hand them out to anyone passing by. Gert was advertising her new club and trying to get at least four members to sign up to make it official. Molly and Luna stood at her side as the purple-headed activist passed her club flyers out to passing classmates. Luna still wore her earbuds, yet she had paused the music a while ago as she didn't want to be bothered by anyone around her as she wanted to pay attention to her surroundings.
