Shreya wanted to still look around. Diya was walking around with her, showing her attires and looking at attires. Arjun suddenly saw her pause at something, it was a floral peach color lehenga with a simple blouse. He saw her check the price tag and stuff it back in.

"Why don't you buy it, if you like it" Arjun asked without being sorry for prying

"Well, because it costs too much" Diya explained

"I'll pay that's not an issue"

"CEO sahab, even I can afford it but then I wonder do I really want to buy it, it's so heavy, I wont be able to wear it more than once, yes it's pretty but then you also have to be minimalist right? besides vanity doesn't suit me"

"That's almost hypocritical-" Arjun interrupted

"To use the vain to make money? well it's a choice that people have to buy or to not buy, we in no way force them into doing so, like i wil CHOOSE not to buy this dress for whatever reason"

"Wow, You're sometimes beyond me" Arjun muttered under his breath as he chuckled. Did she really try to be minimalistic for the sake of the environment?

"But you'll have to buy something for Diwali" Arjun expressed his realization

"Yeah but I have clothes from Meeta's wedding" She said and then quickly corrected herself "I mean your wedding" she said and froze. She hadn't mentioned Meeta's name in a long time, let alone mention it casually!

"Our wedding" Arjun corrected her and slowly walked to the Mens section. Diya widened her eye and shook her head, it was like a sudden reality check in the little fantasy that she was building for herself.

"Bhabhi, tie or bow tie" Dev said holding two options in his hands

"Dev, decided the color of your shirt and blazer first and why are you at the formals, did you choose your kurta yet?" She asked him sternly

"Just choose any, how does it matter" Dev said

There was an olive green one, a brown one, an orange one and a yellow one. Diya held all of them by their hangers and put each one on him and looked at him in the mirror.

"The orange one seems to look good, what say shreya" She asked Shreya who's eyes were focused on the footwear store right opposite the men's section

"looks good, bhabhi it's beautiful" Shreya said dramatically referring to the shoes on the racks in that store, an amused Diya shook her head. Her gaze lingered onto Arjun who was explaining his requirement for his tuxedo. Touching the fabrics carefully, choosing the buttons and deciding between each and every color.

"Okay dev, so the orange is final for your indian wear, should we get the grey blazer and the white shirt for the formals and then we can decide the bow or tie whichever"

"Perfect bhabhi" dev said and went back into the trial room.

Diya glanced at Arjun again, he was so handsome she thought to herself, the tuxedo made him look so handsome yet unapproachable in so many ways. She liked the Arjun in tracks and sweaty tshirt, he was way more comfortable to be around. She saw him struggle with the tie. She slowly walked towards him and held his hands. Undid the messy knot that he had made and lifted his collar up and put the tie around it. Arjun slowly slid his Arms around her waist, Diya was aware of their presence but chose to ignore them.

"You're making things Awfully easy for me" Arjun whispered into her ear look at her in the mirror that he was standing in front off.

"You moving so much is making things awfully hard for me" Diya retorted back impassively. Arjun stood still.
