Vengeful Fire (Possessed Kai ninjago fanfic)

Chapter One

Morro has grabbed the realm crystal once it had fallen over the falls thanks to his wind. The ninja circled around their weaken brother.

Lloyd's energy was nearly gone. He was so exhausted and tired.

Kai looked down at Lloyd and back at Morro. Anger and hatred burning inside him. He couldn't let him escape after what he's done. Kai got to his feet and ran after him.

Zane shifted as he saw Kai run after Morro. "Kai, No!" Zane shouted as they should be staying with Lloyd. But there was no stoping him.

Cole chased after Kai, wanting to support him as Zane and Jay stayed behind with Lloyd.

Morro had reached the outside and saw the disaster that was happening with his ally ghosts. Before Morro could act he heard someone yell his name from the cave and was tackled to the ground, causing him to drop the realm crystal.

Kai held Morro down as best he could. "Your not getting away after what you've done!" Kai yelled with hatred.

Morro glared at Kai before phasing through him to get back up. He quickly grabbed the realm crystal, not wanting to loose it again. He prepared a wind blast to hit Kai but was attacked by stone as Cole had showed up. Morro growls tightening his grasp on the realm crystal. Jay and Zane were easy to handle when he tricked Jay into electrocuting his own robot friend. He looked at the sword and saw that the next move would be from Kai and quickly avoided his kick when he came at him.

Kai needed to be careful of the sword since he was unarmed.

Wu, Misako And Nya watched from the bounty as the three fought.

"They need our help!" Nya pointed out. She couldn't help with just waiting when she can finish Morro here and now.

"There's nothing we can do. Cole is over there, if you use your element it could vanish him." Misako reminded Nya. "We just need to wait and see what happens."

Nya sighed as she forgot that Cole was weak to water. She could send a wave at them and it would end Morro but also Cole.

Kai needed Morro to be busy to be able to look at the sword to see their next move. He looked over at Cole.

Cole noticed Kai looking over at him from the other side and notice what he was thinking and gave him a smile and nodded. Letting him know that he's got this. Cole used the rock and soil from the ground and sent a storm of stones at Morro for him to keep blocking and avoid.

Now that Morro was busy. Kai planed on pulling the same trick he did with the master of smoke during the tournament. Once the rocks where dying down he sent a blast of fire at Morro witch he noticed and faded to avoid the heat but wasn't so lucky for the realm crystal. Kai reached out and grabbed it from Morro and slid against the ground.

Morro looked at his empty hand as the crystal was gone and growled in anger. "Give me the realm crystal!" He demanded, running at him.

"Kai! Destroy it!" Cole told Kai. If the realm crystal is destroyed then Morro's plan would end.

Kai looked at the realm crystal and started using his element to burn the crystal and crush it until it shattered.

Morro had came right at him when the crystal finally shattered and exploded, releasing a wave of power. Kai fell back from the wave and hit his head against the stone of the cave and fell unconscious.

Kai slowly opens his eyes to see the familiar surroundings of his room, inside the destiny bounty. He slowly sat up and grunted as he felt pain from the back of his head and upper back.

Nya was there, sitting across as she had been waiting by her brother's bed. She looked up as she heard her brother wake up. She went over to him, kneeling down by him. "It's okay Kai. You did it." Nya told him, giving him a gentle smile.

Kai looked over at his sister, rubbing the back of his head. "What happened?" He asked her as everything was still slowly coming back to him.

"You destroyed the realm crystal. Morro and his friends escaped though. You stopped Morro's plan." Nya replied.

Kai thought for a moment. "Wait- where's Lloyd?!" He asked worriedly. He was dearly hoping they got him back and that he was okay.

"He's alright, we got him back. He's just resting in his room with his mom and Zane." Nya reassured her brother.

Kai sighed in relief, leaning back. "Where's Morro?" Kai asked. He wondered what Morro was doing now that he didn't have Lloyd or the realm crystal to continue his plan.

"We don't know. We're trying to track him and look for any signs of him or his friends." Nya explained. "Don't worry, we'll stop him and return him and his friends back to the curse realm."

Kai looked at his sister and glanced over at the window that was by him. Thoughts bothered him. From all Morro has done. He wanted revenge. He didn't feel like destroying the realm crystal was enough. He wanted him gone so that everyone will be safe from his intentions. He's faced many villains. He thought Chen was the worst one to mess with his family. But Morro is stronger and not chicken. Morro wants revenge for not being the green ninja and do whatever it takes to make the chosen one suffer and those who stand in his way.

"Supper is ready. I'll see you at the dinner table." Nya said, getting up from her chair and leaving out of the room.
Kai slowly sat up and shifted his body and stood up from his bed. He fixed himself up and went to the dinner table.

Later that night.

Kai wanted to watch over Lloyd for the night. But the others told him he should get more rest. They know how much Kai has put himself through to get Lloyd back and stop Morro. They also wanted him to rest so that he could get better soon from the injuries he got fighting Morro and getting his head hit hard.
Kai laid on his bed and waited. He shifted around and tried to sleep but his mind wasn't allowing him. He kept hearing Morro's voice and Lloyd's pain. It seemed like he was in his bed for hours trying to get rest. He sat up from his bed and looked around the dark room with the only light coming from the window. He glanced at the peaceful view of the night sky. He sighed and moved the covers off him and stood up. Guess he wasn't having any sleep tonight. He got dressed for the day and started some punches and kicking at a punching bag he set up for himself. He couldn't get Morro out of his head. Every hit building with more anger and hatred. The memories of failing Lloyd and Morro getting away were growing too much to handle. Kai's fist lit up with an intense heat of flames and punched the bag. The bag fell back as it burst into flames and fell to ashes. Kai took heavy, painful breathes, and lowered his head. 'It's all my fault...' He said, placing a hand up to his head. He was trying so hard to trying to keep himself together and not rage out and do anymore damage.

But then their was a sudden sound of clapping? It was slow but loud enough to here.

Kai quickly turned towards the sound of and froze before gritting his teeth at the sight of the filthy intruder, Morro...

Morro chuckled and stopped clapping when Kai's attention was on him. "Not bad." Morro replied with a sneer.
