I grab a slice of pizza from the kitchen and put it on a plate before joining everyone outside.

"so Holly what are you going to do now then, you going to join any clubs?" Bella asks

"oh i don't know, i don't know if i should rush back into dance" i say

"umm about that" my mom

"what about it?" i ask her

"well your always singing and trying not to dance all the time why don't you like join a musical theatre group thing?" she suggests

"oh i don't know, not again" i say with alarm bells going off in my head

"don't freak out but, do you remember that musical theatre school you went to?" she says

"yeah the singing, acting dancing one. What was it called.... oh the Loyd school of preforming arts"i say

"well, they called to see how you are doing and they want you to audition. It's not actually that their school cause they mainly accept professional performers after you finish school. But they run like a club thing." my mom says

"audition for what?" i ask

"well, in summer they are preparing for a showcase. The show is my fair lady, there will be recruiters to watch and will be getting performers to audition for a broadway musical!" my mom say

"what!" i shriek "i love my fair lady"

"you can take it slow, they offer you full support. It's at weekends and after school on Mondays and Thursdays. They have seen everything you have done and are very impressed" my mom says

"But it's in Cali" i say

"no they have two schools and one recently opened in Arizona for older ages cause you know that one was for younger students" she tells me and i can't help but smile

"but.. what... huh?"

"it gets better the people in your group still go to the school and they ones who have scholarships with the company have moved here, so you will be able to see all of your old friends! It's only a 10 minute drive away!"

"oh my god!" the girls and i say

"what musical will they be recruiting for?" i ask

"mamma mia" my mom says and my eyes go wide

"shut up" i say

"i wish i could"

"mom you don't understand it's-"

"our favourite musical i know!" she says

"you have to go! you have to do it!" Jordan says

i don't say anything and i just let it process in my mind.

"look holly you have literally all the instruments here, you sing all the fucking time and it's annoying. You were an incredible dancer, you are an incredible dancer"

"what instruments do you have"?" Ellie asks

"yeah we have everything, piano, guitars, karaoke machine" he says

"we have to do karaoke!" ellie outbursts

"yes!"

"look just think about it, you don't want to pass an opportunity like" she tells me "yeah why not let's do some karaoke"

Jordan, Issac and Ace goes with them to find it and set it up.

"how are you feeling honey?" my mom asks sitting next to me on the outside furniture

"alright just kinda drained i guess i don't really know how i'm feeling at all it's hard to explain i guess" i say

"well you need to start taking the medicine. Just give it some thought and if you want to talk about it just let me know" she tells me and i nod

"what medicine?" Finn asks

"she's anemic so she has to take it for six months to stop it from coming back, the cancer is a contributing factor to why she has it" my mom tells him and he nods

"what if i can't dance the same" i say

"how about you go to like a workshop or something? we have that old room here, you can use that to dance if you want, then you can have a lesson or something" she suggests and i nod

"okay"

"Holly come on! it's karaoke time" they shout

"fine but i'm not singing on my own" i say

"great you can do a duet" ryder beams and my mom laughs

"with" he begins trailing off

Ryder looks around everyone, scanning them and narrowing his eyes before stopping at Finn

"with Finn, or should i say Flynn?" he says and out dads laugh

"no no no no no! i can't sing" Flynn says

"oh come on you don't wanna leave your girl to do it my herself, would you?" Ryder says and i put my face in my hands

"this is gonna be a disaster" Raymond says laughing

"i know! we should record it for her birthday in a few weeks!" my dad suggests and they laugh making me roll my eyes and smile at their stupidity

Flynn walks up to me and grabs my hands making me look away from our dads

"come on princess we have a song to sing" he tells me

Then all of a sudden a massive wave of squeals comes from behind me.

I turn around to see Emily, Ellie, Freya, Sophia and Kenzie squealing away.

"what are you doing?" i ask

"come on just sing the song" they say ushering us into the living room to see the song already up on the tv

"of course" i say looking at the tv

"it's your song!" Kenzie beams at me shoving a microphone into my hands
