Monoma quickly began to back up, bumping into his classmates. What he had seen made him regret his earlier actions. Deku began walking up to class B, making most, especially Monoma, nervous. But even then, Monoma wouldn't give it a rest and refused to back down. "Ha, classic class A," he ranted. "Acting high and mighty, as if they can do anything. Of course you would resort to intimidation tactics, though Ectoplasm must have been holding back or there's no way you would have won."

"I may be quirkless but I give it my all," Deiuu retorted. "Instead of focusing on 1A, focus on your own class. You've got a lot of potential and you're gifted, don't waste it. That applies to all of you. Trust me when I say that you can become great if you applied yourselves. I mean, just look at me. My linguistic skills as well as those fighting techniques. I learned all that and more in just a year. It only takes effort." As he said the last bit, he walked past them and out of the gym, followed by the rest of his class a minute later since their time was up.

The entire class stood there dumbfounded. That kid praised them and thought they were gifted. Nobody else had said that about them. Kendo smiled at Izuku. He put Monoma in his place and made her and the rest of her class feel important. She, as well as most of her class, liked him. Neito wasn't sure whether he wanted to continue teasing him or not, but he was going to take his advice.

Later when class was over, Deku was walking to the dorms with Tokoyami. The two had become fast friends, and were talking about Deku's first week at UA, when All Might appeared and the two stopped. Deku had seen him around, but never spoke to the retired hero. Tokoyami had always admired All Might, but when he had heard about Deku's meeting with him and what it did to him, his opinion of the pro had definitely lessened.

"Young Midoriya, I was hoping that I'd be able to speak with you if you don't mind," All Might asked.

Deku just shook his head. "Look I'm guessing you wanted to give some apology, but you're too late. That's something I needed to hear when we first met, not after I've made a name for myself as one of your sworn enemy's subordinates." Deku walked past the hero, Tokoyami following silently.

All Might stood there, not bothering to stop the boy. What he had said was true, and he had regretted his words ever since then. "Still, I must say it. I am sorry for what I said, I was mistaken. So please allow me to say what I should have back then." All Might turned to Deku as he slowly walked away. "You too, can become a hero."

A couple of days had passed since then. Class A were currently getting off a bus at Takoba National Stadium. The reason why was simple. Despite being first years, they would be participating in the provisional license exam. And after careful planning and consideration, even Deku was allowed to take part in the exam. Though it was decided that he would be kept under near constant supervision to ensure that nothing happened.

The class were currently in a huddle, mentally preparing themselves and shouted the school motto, when a stranger joined in.

"It's not good to insert yourself in other people's huddles Inasa," one of his classmates said.

The person gasped, and then quickly performed a dramatized bow so low, his forehead slammed into the ground. "Please accept my humblest apologies!"

"Man, it's like someone combined Kirishima and Iida and squared the result," Sero said. "This guy is way too pumped up."

"UA to the east, and Shiketsu to the west," Bakugou said. "Of the many hero departments, the elite school that matches up with UA is Shiketsu High."

Deku nodded. He knew who these people were. Their school was about as famous as UA so it's difficult to not hear about them.

Inasa suddenly stood up. "I just wanted to say it once! Plus Ultra! I must say that I am a fan of UA! It's of the utmost honor to compete with y'all from UA! I wish you the best!" After that, he left with the rest of his class
