Never learned to say the right words
She hold her breath, resisted this pain
Careful with steps, prance with a sword
A foolish apprentice running through the rain

A young heart who can't bear a simple heartache
As the stars align to their destined path
Under the luminous moon is a smile she fake
Staring at this reflection on this river she sat

A young warrior whose love is difficult to tell
A woman with strong will yet weak resistance
Should have been careful, but still recklessly fell
Couldn't even see him through, even with just a glance

Even cold winter felt like blossom spring
Let her guard down, all for a distant sight
Fast pulse, it's the strange feeling he brings
In the strangest moments, he was there, her light

Never asked for this life-changing request
Yet there he is, sparks in her memories
As universe's gift, he brought out her best
Drifted away, for honour, became history

Gazed into stars, hoping they'll meet again
Both fought their lives in an unending war
Yet as their nations fought, they were both slain
Soon meet in their afterlife, wounds became scars

Only the universe may determine their fate
Will it remain as an unrequited love story?
Or shall claim love that passes through all gates?
Love remain as radiant yet gentle energy
