Poem#38: By Your Side

You are the only one who makes me alive
One step behind, always right behind you
Cried and became tired, didn't knew I would survive
Looking from afar, sadly left without any clue

Pretending to be okay, disregarded the pain
You'll never notice the suffering I have dealt
Words I could never say, stuck, memories refrain
Did you ever noticed the shadow behind, familiar touch we've felt?

I tried to shout, I can't, gentle voice falters
Without me, look at the sunrise of tomorrow
A peculiar sunset without you, never meant to be together
A lonely heart that now beats in sorrow

I came back to the place we remember
If the moment's right, we'll meet again someday
Reminsce the scenery on the month of November
No matter how much it hurts, I'll still love you everyday
