Poem #62: A Heartbeat's Graph

If I were to graph a heartbeat
It'll be quite similar with y=sin(x)
Music flowing in its rhythm and beat
Simply follows, never turned complex

Our hearts rise and fall at distinctive times
Yet, my heart beats slightly behind yours
As cos(x) rises on your fall, entwines
Like red string of fate, destined and pure

Yet a relationship has its own restrictions
Love has its own invisible asymptotic lines
Passing one's boundaries never function
Trust shall weaken this wall at the right time
