Poem#11: What if

Sometimes I wonder
What if we rode the tide together
And grew up becoming better
Would our love go on forever?

At first glance, we started strong
Eyes filled with undeniable hope
For we thought we will last long
Yet the pain became unbearable to cope

I was so tired fighting alone
Hoping that you would hold on
In a blink of an eye, you were gone
As I cried all night because of what I've done

Battling thoughts of us everyday
How could you not find a reason to stay?
How could you simply threw it away?
With nothing left to say?
