PREFACE
Funny story about how this story was conceived before you get on with it... So following the release of Smosh's latest fanfic reading video- I was on it- I developed this whole plot line with the intent of giving all of you Smosh fanfic readers every thing you wanted. Tropes, angst, more Sarah Whittle, more ships, more everything. So... I started writing this story- The novel version... Which funnily enough I'm barely halfway writing that so there's two versions of this story here, and when I finish writing the novel version OF COURSE I'm publishing it. Any who, in the many months it took me to write as much as I did for the novel version, I got bored and started writing the screenplay version except with original characters in place of the Smosh cast. So all I'm trying to say is, this story went through like 8 adaptations to get to what you're going to read now, so while I've done my best to atone for every OC mention in the screenplay, if I've missed any and you see unfamiliar names, let me know and I'll fix it. None of my stories go through beta reading lol so, sorry about that. ANYWAYS! Just a few more for you before you get on with it:
This was all written on one document, so I did my best to cut it into chapters (As a Wattpad writer I'm just trying to milk the read/vote count, y'know?) instead of having one giant and long chapter... If you find the way I've cut each chapter odd, or long in some parts and short in others, DM me, there's probably another reader who agrees with you and I'll do my best to adjust for everyone! I have everything written in a separate document for sure, so it's as simple as copy and paste for me, so don't worry about making it a hassle for me - It is not. Although, we're 10 chapters even.
A few screenplay terms that I've used:
"SUPER:" means superimposed, as in text on screen for audiences. I've used this to indicate current time in the story.
"INT:" Means the setting is inside, interior.
"EXT:" Means the setting is outside, exterior.
"(BEAT)" Means slight pause, moment held a little longer. If they're any questions about any other terms I'd be happy to answer and add to the list, don't be left confused!
School schedule is based on my real life;
8:30-9:55 first period
10:05-11:30 second period
12:30-1:50 third period
2:05-3:30 fourth period, for your confusion and ability to follow where the characters are as they're in school sometimes.
Final word as I have you here, I'm no professional screenplay writer, I dabble in this for my own sake. I have fun with it, if Smosh, for the third time I believe, decides to add me in another fanfic reading video, guys I'm so sorry I don't know how to write screenplays.
