What to look forward to?

She ran. She ran for a long time, she ran until she was exhausted and out of breath. Soon her pace slowed into limp, slow steps towards no specific destination. She wandered deeper into the forest, intangling her mind in more despair.

Her legs ached, and finally giving into the pain, she fell. She tripped over her own feet, scraping her elbow and soiling her face.

Tears poured down rapidly. She had lost everything and everyone she had ever loved.

"How can he say that?" She whined, digging her nails into the ground beneath her. "How can he say that it was my fault?" She said, wiping away her tears roughly.

"It's not my fault uncle is dead!" She yelled, slamming her fist on the ground, at either sides of her. "It is NOT my fault the Uchihas are all gone." she said in anguish, tears unrestraint from their parade.
He can't do this to me, "He Can't! I'm his...daughter." her voice softened as the thought of her father.

She struggled to get to her feet. "This isn't far enough." She says, her voice no louder than a whisper. "I need-" With one agonizing push, she achieved her goal, until ultimately she wouldn't have the strength to move.

Her body was covered in bruises. Her shirt, face and hands were stained with blood. The bag that she carried weighed more than she had the strength to handle, but she couldn't stop.

She refused to stop.

Everything that happened that night let a gaping hole in her chest. An unforgettable moment that had her world crash in front of her.

Her world was perfect before this. Her world was a tragic nightmare before that.

For three years she had lived a life she never could have dreamt of. A life where she was free to be herself, a kid. Just her.
A normal life. That's all she ever wanted. All she ever needed.

All that, disappeared... All in a span of few moments.

Nothing was ever at peace before she was five. Nothing could be at peace, when she was almost completely disowned by her own parents.

Nothing and Everything taught her so much. So much that she knew that all the bruises, the cuts were all but temporary. The toture of losing, the illusion of healing the scars embedded on her heart were not going to fade. Not until she did.

And Everything taught her that she must continue to fight for what she has left.

She finally came to a clearing, her whole upper body had given in and was solely dependant on her legs for strength.

She collapsed on the ground. Her aching limbs, grateful.

Blood smeared on her clothes, tears glistened in her eyes and a merciless weight rested upon the heart in her chest.

Does he hate me that much?  Am I really that worthless to him? -to both of them?

Don't they care what happens to me?

Will they ever care?

As she wondered, her soul started drowning in darkness. Her face expressionless.

No.

She had given up.

She had no where to go. No where to stay. No family that wanted her.

She left the compound with some money, gold coins and anything she could pack into her bag. She managed to pack some clothes, food and books along with her uncle's note book.
She was his only immediate successor to all his belongings, therefore everything was rightfully hers.
