After dinner Nick went upstairs claiming that his diabetes was acting up and desert would do him no good. He took a deep breath and opened the door only to see the person he least wanted to.

"Why did you come here?" He asked the young woman.

"I came to visit you Nicholas," Caslynn answered breezily.

"Yeah but whenever you visit, I have to leave my family and do some crazy thing for you. Don't you remember that last time you were here you sent me to London. You crazy bitch why can't you leave me alone?" Nick was on the verge of lifting her fragile looking body off the bed and tossing her out of the window. He looked down at his muscular arms. He had bulked up as he got older and smiled knowing that he was more than capable of doing the deed or he would be if it weren't her.

"Oh no, Nicholas where has all the good training Denise gave you gone?Mommy would be very disappointed to hear her baby boy speaking to a girl that way. Shall I punish you for her?" She chuckled lightly.

"Whatever Caslynn, what do you want?"

"Have you seen today's news?"

"No, what happened."

"What happened my uninformed little button is that a close friend of mine was killed by the people I have been preparing you to fight. They have made their first move and are waiting for mine. We will do absolutely nothing but I fear for your safety."

"Aww how sweet, you give a shit. I can take care of myself, now you know the way out. I'm really going to get in trouble if anyone finds out that you're in here."

Caslynn rose from her spot on the bed and flashed Nick with one her smiles, the ones that said that she was up to no good.

"Nick, We're going out tonight, you should get dressed, I will be back soon. You really are growing to be a beautiful man."

Her rose lips touched his cheek momentarily before she passed him and opened the door. He turned to watch her go but she was nowhere to be seen by the time he had. She always left him so confused and with a funny feeling. His skin always burned after she touched  him, like she was forbidden from touching him but couldn't help it. The first time she grabbed his arm it left a mark that he still had. He lifted his sleeve and ran his fingers over it. The scar was his constant reminder that she had an everlasting impact on him and like the scar she was not going anywhere.

"Why oh WHY!" he sighed heavily as he fell onto the bed. Nick rolled over when he felt his phone buzzing and looked at the text message.

Seven o'clock at the normal rendezvous spot.

It was obviously Caslynn being annoying. Nick blew out his deep breath and closed his eyes, thinking back to the day when he first met the girl who changed his life. She looked so innocent as she opened the door with the smile Nick was secretly in love with. She sat him down and gave him something to drink, it was unlike anything he had tasted before but he loved it. She told him that a war was in the making and that she needed him. He was very special and that he needed to be famous if her plan which revolved around him were to work. She told him of the secret things that normal people could not know of. She showed him where she came from and explained the terrible things that had happened and why she could not go back. She pleaded with him to help her. He asked no questions, it sounded too good to be true, he would get his dream and she would get someone to help her. Too bad it was too good to be true.

NIck shook his head at how many things he missed because he was learning something from some old person or travelling somewhere to make nice with someone who Caslynn pissed off but needed now that she had to fight this war she was always going on about. Nick had never seen anything bad happen, the only thing he noticed was an increase in the number of murders in and around his area. He was paranoid about it for awhile. Get it, Paranoid, no? Okay back to the story then. Anyway NIck looked at his watch and seeing that he had only half an hour before he had to meet Caslynn. Caslynn did not like to be kept waiting so Nick climbed away from his dreamy state and got going.
