Chapter 27:D :) ;0)

Start from the beginning

They left, and feeling solitary, I began gobbling my way through a book on potions. A few minutes walked by, yet they seemed like hours. I was seriously beginning to doze off with my head on the book when a solid hand clamped down on my shoulder.

“Oh my Merlin-“

“No, but close. And would you keep your obnoxious voice down, it gives me a headache every. Single. Time.” That foreign, melodic voice that I hadn’t heard in so long complained in irritation.

I turned around to see Tom standing there, as high as a tower and glancing at the book in front of me.

“Tom what are you-“

“Just get your lazy arse up and follow me mudblood.” He ordered and turned around with an official flip of his black-as-night cloak.

I internally debated whether or not to follow him. I could sit there, with absolutely nothing to do for another hour, or I could follow the boy I was deathly afraid of that could potentially lead to injury.

Number two it was!

I easily grabbed my belongings and caught up to his large strides, gusts of cold wind following the trail of his cloak.

“Um…Tom where are we-“

“Just shut up and follow leech.”

Well then!’

We strolled through corridor after corridor, and I noticed how at each portrait we passed through, the eyes of the people painted would follow Tom with a look of fear and awe of such power yet grace.

I plainly felt like my heart was about to burst by the time we reached his mysterious destination. We had climbed a flight of three staircases, and walked like a zillion miles!

I couldn’t help but be envious of how he wasn’t out of breath, as he easily opened the door to an abandoned room with a curse more advanced than alohamora.

There seemed to be a great deal of abandoned rooms at Hogwarts, except this was quite different.

The walls were formed of stone-cold bricks thick slabs of mortar that looked like they were built ages ago, the floor was identical to the gray walls, and as soon as I entered, a freezing burst of air ran throughout my body, and I could of sworn I got goose-bumps for a second. It was absolutely nude, not a single, other object in the entire room. It didn’t even look like an old abandoned classroom.

Maybe it was a dungeon.

Tom surveyed his surroundings with calculating eyes, then turned the corners of his perfectly-shaped lips lifted to form a smirk.

“I’m teaching you occulmency.”

“What?! No! I’m not even ready yet I need to warm-up and you didn’t tell me about this!” I was starting to hyperventilate. I didn’t know he was going to do this now. I was so cut off guard, a small part of me was in pure shock.
