ok so basically i wanted to write books for each song of tdc magic n go in order. this was meant to be a surprise but it is what it is ig 😭

n e way i was gonna write a book called run away after this.

as u can see ive got so many versions of it lol.

but yesterday i started writing the one i wanted to do for 20cm, cos i usually just write chaps for each song when im bored.

but long story short, i rly like what ive written for 20cm n i rly wanna share it with u n ik that'll break the order of the album but if i wait to get through each song it'll take too long.

cos if we do some maths (🤢)

i started started new rules basically three months ago, n cos of how i update i think i'll (hopefully) finish it in two months. that means new rules all together took five months to be published.

20cm is the 7th song on the album, n if it takes me 5 months to finish each ff n if i continue to write each ff one at a time that means u'll get 20cm in 27 months.

but i want it to be up to u guys, so im gonna make a vote.

20cm (SOOGYU) CHAPTER ONE
Everyone always made jokes that me and you were always in a 20cm radius of each other, that we were like Yin and Yang.

Salt and pepper.

Coffee and cream.

I always laughed it off, claiming that you were just clingy.

You would then gasp and slap me.

But, recently, things have been changing.

Whenever someone nags about how close we are, you kiss my cheek.

I blush.

And, you say, 'he's my best friend'.

I hate it.

Because now I understand the lyrics to love songs.

Now I can relate to all the romance dramas.

And, to top it all off, it's because of you.

My best friend.

A best friend that only saw me as that, a best friend.

A best friend who once said that I was like a little brother to him.

A best friend that was, currently, ranting to me about a girl he'd met the other day at the bakery, and how beautiful she looked in her baby blue summer dress that had the prettiest floral pattern on it-

"Beom, are you even listening?" You interrupted my thoughts, like you always did.

But, today you seemed really annoyed.

"No, sorry. I was just.. spacing out" I answered with a shrug.

"Oh, what were you thinking about?" You asked.

Your voice was softer now.

I finally looked down at you.

You looked up at me with your large dark brown, almost black, eyes in wonder.

My palms grew sweaty as my heart began to ache.

"That maths test tomorrow" I quickly lied.

"Don't worry, you'll do good" you reassured.

You sat up from your position on my lap to ruffle my hair, and give me a sweet hug.

I blushed.

We cuddled for what felt like hours, but I wanted it to be days.

I liked how your touch sent tingles down my spine, and my heart beat faster.

It was nice.

But my heart was sinking.

I was sinking

Because I was in love with my best friend.

A best friend that only saw me as that, a best friend.

fun fact (not rly) ab this book tho, it was meant to be beomjun n i wrote the title '20cm // BEOMJUN', but as soon as i began writing (cos it used to be in third person) my mind just made me write 'everyone used to make jokes that cbg n csb were always in a... etc' so ig it was just meant to be soogyu lmao.
