Jaebum smiled, nodding eagerly. "Anything for you."

Youngjae watched Jaebum place a kiss on Jinyoung's cheek before disappearing off into the kitchen, clicking his tongue at the unfortunate consequences. "It's gotta be hard Jinyoung... he really doesn't remember anything."

"He doesn't have to. He'll look at me as a human now." Jinyoung replied, though, it did hurt a bit. Jinyoung at least felt special in Jaebum's eyes since he was an angel, but now that he didn't remember anything, he felt dull. Like any other human person. It wasn't good to value himself that way, but heard couldn't ignore the feeling he got, as if he'd lost a huge part of himself and their past.

"But...." Youngjae scoffed, looking at Jinyoung's downcast face. He felt his own heart breaking, the disappointment Jinyoung felt practically tangible. "Look, I can't watch this."

Jinyoung looked up, watching Youngjae march towards the kitchen. "Youngjae, what are you doing?"

"I'm fixing him. Jaebum get over here!" Youngjae called.

"No you can't! You might get in trouble, it's the council's order to have his memories gone." Jinyoung stated. the last thing he wanted was for someone else to be affected by his own problems. Jaebum's already lost his memory, he didn't want anyone else to lose anything more because of him.

Youngjae was the stubborn type though, refusing to allow this to continue. "I don't care. You guys went through all this trouble just for him to forget everything about you that was special? That's not fair."

"What's going on guys?" Jaebum asked while emerging from the kitchen.

"I deserve it." Jinyoung mumbled. After all the trouble he's caused, this was his punishment. He had to face it.

"You don't." Youngjae retorted. "All you wanted was love. You don't deserve anything bad at all. You deserve the person who loves you for all of you, angel or not."

Youngjae placed his hand on Jaebum's head, the elder frowning in confusion.

"W-Why are you touching me-?"

"Shh..." Youngjae interrupted. He concentrated hard, his hand suddenly glowing as his powers surged through his fingers. Jinyong watched, his chest tightening as he grew nervous of the outcome.

Jaebum winced when Youngjae pulled away, a spike of pain throbbing in his head. Both Jinyoung and Youngjae waited in silence as he regained himself.

Jaebum looked around, his eyes first landing on Youngjae. "What happened-..."

His eyes suddenly met Jinyoung's, his words halting in his mouth. Jaebum's lip quivered as a tear fell down his cheek, his hands already reaching out for Jinyoung. "Baby... I missed you so much..."

Jinyoung's jaw fell open as Jaebum embraced him, his arms hesitantly wrapping around his waist in return.

"I was so scared when they took you, I didn't know what happened and I was so worried. No one hurt you right? Youngjae told me you were probably in heaven, is that all true?" Jaebum interrogated.

Jinyoung nodded, pressing his face into Jaebum's neck. He was so relieved Jaebum remembered everything, it felt like something was missing before, he knew he couldn't have lived with it. "Yeah... yeah they took me to Heaven..."

"Where did they take you? Why? I was so worried and scared, me and Youngjae spent the past few days looking through those files from that library, we got nothing. I tried so hard to save you but..."  Jaebum paused, sobbing softly into Jinyoung's shoulder. He was a mixture of happy and relieved and disappointed, it took his all not to totally break down over the past few days. "I'm so sorry I can't protect you. I'm just a human, I can't protect you like I want to. I'm so sorry I'm not good enough..."
