[Serenity]

I cleared my thoughts and looked to Kevin. He was humming the tune to the song playing. His gaze was fixated strictly on the road. His hand was placed on the steering wheel firmly. He was tapping his fingertips on the wheel to the beat. His hair was being blown slightly by the soft wind. The sun complimented his skin flawlessly at the angle. I didn't realize how long I was staring until he spoke up.

"Stop staring love," he hummed.

"It's not my fault you're beautiful," I blurted out.

"Enough about my beauty. How are you feeling? Not physically, because I know the answer to that is like shit. Mentally," he asked glancing towards me.

I took a second before answering. I didn't wanna lie. Because I did feel like shit inside and out.

"Honestly I feel worthless. I wanted to lose my virginity in a good way. Not candles and sex songs. Just special. I didn't want it to be rushed. I didn't want that," I spoke slow.

"You didn't wanna get raped," he whispered.

"Yeah," I mumbled.

"I feel used and hurt. He raped me then cheated on me. I thought I could give him another chance and that he was just drunk. But when I saw him and Stephanie it all went away. I didn't think it could disappear just like that," I trailed off.

"What disappeared Serenity?" He questioned.

"My feelings for him. Every last bit of them went away. I loved him. I thought he loved me, Kevin. Do you know how hard that is? Was I not enough for him? I tried so hard to be the best girlfriend towards him. What didn't I do Kevin?" I cried at him.

I was choking on my tears.

"Serenity you're perfect. Okay? Just because Aaron didn't see that doesn't mean it's not true. You were great to him. He didn't deserve you. You deserve someone to love you unconditionally and to make you feel like the strong independent beautiful woman you are. Nothing less," he explained rubbing circles on my hand as we pulled into the parking lot.

"I just feel like I'm not enough. I feel uncomfortable in my skin. The thought of him touching me like that again scares me. His touch was so rough and it hurt. I don't want nobody to hurt me like that again Kevin," I spoke as tears trickled from my eyes.

"Serenity I promise you that nobody will touch you or hurt you like that again. I don't break promises you know that. I'll do whatever I can to keep you safe and happy. You have my word," Kevin spoke slowly looking me in the eyes.

I nodded slowly and he wiped my tears away.

"Let's go get you checked up," he mumbled as we both got out of his car.

We walked into the large building hand in hand. We walked in and the familiar middle-aged receptionist was at the counter.

"Serenity Hemmings right?" She questioned.

"Yup. Angelina this is my friend Kevin. Kevin this is Angelina," I smiled introducing them.

"How can I help you, dear?" She smiled.

"I have an appointment with Dr.Hood," I answered and she nodded.

I led Kevin through the different halls that led to Calum's office. We walked in and he smiled.

"There's my favorite girl. Kevin always good to see you. C'mon, let's get you checked up in an exam room. You want Kevin to come or stay?" Cal asked me.

"He can come," I answered, and with that Cal led us to a nearby exam room.

I sat down and Cal came towards me.

"Simple check-up first then the other stuff I'll explain," Cal spoke quickly and I nodded.

He took my blood pressure, checked my temperature, heartbeat, and breathing.

"Okay, you're all good now the personal questions. Listen, sweetheart, I know it'll be hard to answer some are uncomfortable. Just answer to the best of your ability," Calum explained and I nodded.

"Did he use protection?" He asked and I nodded.

"Did you bleed?"

"No,"

"Does your back hurt as if you pulled a muscle?"

"Yes,"

"Is your vagina sore per se?"

"Kinda,"

"Does anywhere else hurt?

"No,"

"Okay perfect. I'll give you painkillers for the pain. Put a heating pad on your back to relax your muscles. I'm going to give you a pregnancy test just to be sure," he explained and I nodded.
