He remained silent, continuing to take in your features and watch your movements. It seemed everyone was hesitant when meeting you, huh? Thinking about it, it made sense. But, it was even stranger having faces to the voices you heard for so long. It felt weird not having the voice changer there to cover them up.

"You're Missy?"

"Mhmm," You hummed, nodding your head slowly and tiredly. While you would have loved to find out what the hell was going on, you would have also loved to sleep. You were exhausted and the encounter with Hyun threw you over the edge.

"Then come in, we need to talk." There it was, the serious aura you were feeling only moments ago had appeared as an expression and a stance. He really was a serious guy. "You three go get the others, I need to have a chat with her first. Alone."

They all nodded and obediently followed his orders before turning and walking out of the door they had only just entered. You glanced up towards him to have him gesture to follow, he quickly turned and led you into an open room with a large table and a flat screen sitting on the wall. Beside them though was a window that spreads across the entire wall, allowing you to look down towards the great city below filled with shining lights and mystery.

"I assume you were told who we are on your way here?" He asked, his deep voice reaching your ears and forcing you to turn and watch him sit at the head of the large rounded table.

He gestured for you to sit, which you gladly did. Taking the seat closest to you, you threw yourself down, your hand instinctively reaching towards your chest, attempting to brush the pained expression away.

"I was," you nodded, answering his questions. Your joking tone had vanished, hell, it barely showed itself at all through the last few months because of everything that had been going on. But, this time, it was because you felt as though you could probably be thrown out of the window if you said the wrong thing.

"And that we want you to join our... 'group'?"

"Yep, also that I no longer have much choice since I have been associated with your guys already." You added on, saving him a job.

"Right," he smiled politely, his dimples making yet another appearance. "It's unfortunate that this is how things had to happen. I was already discussing with some members about whether we should offer you a place here officially. There were still security things we had to do, safety, you know. But, it probably would have been a nicer and easier welcome than this."

"Trust me," you smiled, "any type of welcome is appreciated. I don't get many."

"-Oh!" He sat up, "I'm sorry, I should have said. I'm RM, by the way. We've been speaking for so long, I forgot that we've never actually met. It's strange hearing your voice.

It was remarkably true. You had always imagined a face when you spoke, but because of the metallic sounding voice changer, you almost always imagined a robot. Finding a man was shocking. Let alone an attractive man.

"On another note... I won't force you to stay if you don't want to. But it's probably the safest thing you could do so you have some assurance of your safety. I can get you protection if not, somebody to visit you every so often, but it won't be the safest. I only have six guys here with me, we're not a very big group."

"Yeah, uh, I think staying is the only real choice I have. My house got ransacked earlier and unless I want to live in a decrepit abandoned house, I don't really have many choices."

"Did you manage to get out alright?"

"Yeah, I used to climb out the windows of that old house all the time."

"...I'm sorry," his face fell, coming to a quick thought, "but, why exactly were they there? If you have a past with gangs, that's fine. I just need to know if it's going to come back to bite us later."

You sank.

It wasn't such a simple thing to explain. You hated having to explain your past and if you could, you were going to hide it for as long as possible. But, finding a way to explain around your whole childhood wasn't an easy task.

"I've never really been involved in gangs," you started. "But, they've always wanted to involve me. Not, Miseriae, but, y'know, me. It's a lot of complicated personal stuff, but, somebody gave my location away and a guy who was technically my fiancee started following me. It's... complicated."

"Sounds it. Just, let me know if there's anything else I should know, okay?"

"Okay." You faltered. "I'm... not gonna be much use at the moment, actually."

"What? What's wrong?"

"I don't have my bag which had my laptop... and my energy drinks..." You sighed, pausing to think about all the energy you had gained from those wonderful cans of death and destruction in liquid form. You pulled yourself back together, noticing his raised eyebrow. "I can't let the man who was there tonight get onto my laptop. I can't let him know I'm Miseriae. Without that laptop, I won't have any of the things I need to get work done. All the codes I created and the-"

You paused, your brain clicking as a thought came to mind. However, before you could say anything more on that, the door opened, revealing a larger group who stood patiently. Immediately, RM stood up, a smile on his face as he gestured for the group of six to enter.

"Come in, sit down." He grew happier and the group obediently entered, smiling at the happy face of their leader but showing you nothing but hesitance as they turned towards you.

They took their seats, JK sitting beside you as he realised that out of everyone, you had spoken to him casually enough to be comfortable with him. Well, more comfortable than you would otherwise be.

You all put your attention back onto RM.

"This is the person I was telling you about, the hacker who's helped us for the past year, she's called... Oh-" The leader paused, realising that after all of this time, he still didn't know your name. "Do you want to keep that private? I'd understand if you do..."

"(Y/n)" You said, a gentle smile slipping across your features as he nodded. JK turned, slightly surprised. Perhaps he was expecting you would have a code name or something like 'electrik strike' or even 'hak3r763'.

"Introduce yourselves." The leader nodded, glancing towards JK first.

"Jungkook," he said, flashing a bunny like smile up towards you as you nodded, returning your own polite smile.

"I'm Taehyung, also, V... For Victory!" The ashy blonde-haired boy smiled a boxy grin towards you, leaning into his hand so he could see you from behind Jungkook. Shifting positions, he turned to look towards the boy beside him.

You glanced around Jungkook, your eyes meeting the ones of the boy beside Taehyung. He looked incredibly soft with his blonde hair and innocent eyes... Yet, he seemed a little scary... It made you more than a little curious about what he did for the group.

"I'm Jimin," He stated, clearly a little tired from the early hours of the morning you all suffered through.

"And I'm Hoseok, or, J-Hope!" The red-haired guy announced, a bright smile on his lips as he yelled out, flashing more happiness than you believed he truly had at the moment in time. After all, it was around two in the morning. Though you were accustomed to the early hours, maybe they were too.

"Hello," an entirely new voice said, causing you to turn your gaze towards the tall, broad-shouldered boy with dark hair. You had to admit... He was very handsome... In fact, they all were. You were intimidated. "I'm Seokjin, or just Jin if you prefer."

"Yoongi." The boy beside Jin said, his eyes lowered towards the table with a tiredness in them. His white hair seemed a little messy and it seemed as though he had been woken... Or was still waiting to go to bed.

Moving along the table, your eyes met with the purple haired leader who was yet to introduce himself to you. A smile spread on his lips as he sat up to look you in the eyes with confidence.

"And I'm the leader, Namjoon." He continued to smile as you gladly returned it. You wouldn't think these seven men were all violent gangsters at first glance, but you know they all hid something dark from the eyes of others just like you did.
