Gaius eyebrow shot up spinning Merlin around to face him. "The First Code of Camelot has never been broken for any man. What've you done, Merlin?"

Merlin sighed know he was in for a lecture. "Okay, I bent the rules a little, but the rules are wrong. They're unfair." Merlin shrugged turning away from Gaius, but Gaius grabbed his shoulder stopping him.

"You bent the rules? Using magic?' Gaius clarified his temper slowly rising.

Merlin bit his lip avoiding eye contact. "It was nothing, honestly. It was more of a trick than actual magic." Merlin defended. He felt a bit bad for his actions but even then he knew he wouldn't take it back.

Gaius made a sound that was a mix of a sigh and a growl as he shook his head disappointedly. "Your magic is not a toy, Merlin. It's not for you to use or abuse as you see fit." Gaius reminded.

"I know. I know." Merlin said nodding his head looking at the he ground in defeat.

"Then why'd you do it?"

Merlin smacked his lips together sending Gaius a guilty smile once again. Gaius had seen far to many of those from Merlin in the short time Merlin has been in Camelot. "I owe Lancelot my life. I am paying for that debt the only way I can by giving him the opportunity he deserves. If you want to punish me for it, go ahead." Merlin waved his arms around pushing all the guilt away.

Artura had been waiting a long time to be free from her responsibilities but since her father had given her a clumsy idiotic man servant she hasn't been able to do it as often as once good. And then her father destroyed her dress and didn't bother to buy her new ones even though she had been right. So she woke up extremely early and slipped into the dress wearing her riding pant under her dress before she slipped out her widow climbing skillfully down the side.

Once she was out she released her breath, now all she had to do was enjoy the rest of the day. "Where to first?" She looked down at the dress Gaius had given her. It was a dress made for a woman taller and larger than her. It was a mustard yellow with brown lining. In conclusion it was not the prettiest thing she had worn but it was better then others so while she definitely was going to go buy some more prettier dress

"I guess me and Gwen are going dress shopping." Artura sighed pulling her dress up she headed towards her best friend's house grinning growing wider and wider on her face the closer she got.

She almost knocked the door over with her excited knocking waiting impatiently. Gwen drowsily opened the door covering a yawn. "What are you doing yawning let's get going." Artura ushered pulling the surprised girl out of her house.

Gwen was stumbling behind and trying to fix her footing. "Alice slow down I just got up." Artura slowed down sighing.

She reframed from searching the back of her head. A nervous habit she has picked up as Arthur. "Sorry," she said chuckling.

Gwen chuckled with her catching up. "Why are we in such a rush?"

"I had a bit of trouble on an adventure of mine and now am left with well this" Artura gestured towards her dress. It was not a flattering dress but it's what Gaius had so it was what she was to wear. Gwen's face scrunched up at the dress. "Not my choice the one I had on was ripped up so my friend lent me this." It was a simple lie with a dash of truth.

Gwen nodded. "Only for a little bit Morgana still needs me. Lucky for you she gave me this morning off." Gwen smiled brightly linking arms with Artura. "You are going to have to tell me of you travels, Alice."
