The Next Day
"Morning Ava" Ethan says opening the curtains "five more minutes please" I groan turning around as he grabs my hands and pulls me up "get up sunshine we woke up late" He says sitting down next to me "really what time is it" I mutter "what" Ethan says "the time what is it" I groan "i actually dont know i just wanted to make sure you didnt fall back to sleep" He says as I slap his back "rude" I whine.
"what time did you sleep" He asks me "one in the morning why" I say letting my hair out as Ethan smiles at me "no reason" He says "thought i heard something early this morning" he continued as I nod "anyways ready for a different day" he says as I nod "sure why not" I say shaking my hands to loosen them up "im gonna go get ready" He says standing up as I nod "ill catch you soon" I smile.

I walk outside past the girls "Hey Ave wrong way" April yells "I dont think so" I say walking towards Ethan and their friends "Hey Dickhead Derek" I smile "Asshole Ava" He winks as I stand next to Ethan "hey boys" i smiles "hi" they all say besides Ethan, JJ comes up beside me "do you think you could hook me up with one of my friends" He whispers.
"Maybe you should talk to her" I whisper back "feisty shes good" JJ says as I laugh "this is your dorm mate" Simon says "well I have said that like a few hundred times" Ethan says "whats up with you and Derek" he whispers in my ear.
"Derek you havent told your friends what happened between me and you" I say sarcastically "of course not" Derek rolled his eyes "Your the only one who doesnt like her bro" Jack says "we have a past" Derek hisses "lets keep that a secret" Derek mouthes to me as I roll my eyes at him "Change the topic Class is starting so i think we should go" Grayson says as the girl walk past me.
"they are so dating i mean who wouldn't date Ethan they definitely have the hots for each other" Emma says glaring at me "if you fuckin" "hey" Ethan says "lets just go to class ignore them" He says as I nod.
I sit in between Ethan and JJ in the middle of the boys "Hey wanna go out sometime" JJ whispers in my ear "Sure" I smile "when" I whisper back "Later tonight meet me out at the lake" He whispers as I nod "yeah ok" I chuckle.

"Where are you going" Ethan says to me "No where" I smile grabbing my phone and purse "Doesn't seem like nothing" He says "Im just going for a walk around" I smile to him "At night" He says confused as I nod "Yes" I say "Be safe" He says as I feel a wave of nervousness in the room as if he was nervous "i will be dont worry" I say lightly.
My phone goes off and I check to see who it was
JJ: Im near the fountain since its cold near the lake
I read the message and look up "I uh better go" I say as he nods I firmly grab the door handle and open the door slowly walking out of the doorway and closing the door, I walk down the stairs and outside to the fountain and see JJ "Hey" I smile giving him a hug "Hey" he says "what are we doing" I ask.
"Just gonna go eat and drive around" He says "You down" He asks as I nod "Cool lets go" He smiles as he leads me to his car and he opens the door for me "How sweet" I giggle as he chuckles and we both get in the car "where do you like to eat" he says putting the heater on.
"In'n'out" I smile as my phone goes off
Ethan: i mean it be safe i dont want my dorm mate injured
"who's that" JJ asks "Just E" I pause "than Ethan" I chuckle "oh hey but whats your opinion on Ethan" JJ asks me as I look out my window "hes pretty dope actually hes funny and hot" I say as JJ laughs "most girls say hes hot" He say as I nod.
We arrive at in'n'out "eat in" he asks as I nod and we both walk inside and order our orders "i can pay" He smiles "I can" I say "No i want to" He smiles as he pays and we both sit down "why did you wanna take me out" I ask him "you seem pretty cool i just wanted to catch your vibes i guess" He smiles as I nod.
Ethan: You Dead?
Me: No im not dont be stupid im out like i said
Ethan: So Alive
Me: Yes Im alive be quiet and go to sleep its 10 at night
Ethan: Says the one who went to sleep at one in the morning you aint my ma
Me: whatever i wont turn up dead
"Hes so annoying" I sigh "Who" JJ asks "Ethan he keeps messaging me" I chuckle "thats rare he never messages girls that much" JJ says "I feel special" I say sarcastically as I laugh "you know JJ your cool i dont even know you that much" I compliment him "thanks your col aswell" He chuckles.
As we finish our trip to in'n'out i think JJ could sense i was a bit tired "do you want to go back" He asks "I dont mind" I smile "yea lets go you look tired" He smiles.
JJ walks me to my dorm as I give him a hug "Thanks for tonight JJ" I smile "Of course if you need to talk or need a break from anything Im here" He smiles as I nod and he walks off and waves "Bye" He says as I wave "Bye" I chuckle unlocking my door to see a shirtless Ethan on his bed facing the wall.
"Still Up" I say placing my purse on my desk "mhm" Ethan says "you alright" I ask him "mhm" he hums "bitch whats mhm mean" I say "nothing just tired" he says "of course its 12 i told you to sleep" I yawn "well i just wanted to wait until you got back i would hate myself if you didnt come back in one piece" He yawned.
I look at him with a smile no one has ever looked out for me like him as annoying as it is my family are rarely there for me "thanks" I quietly say "but you can sleep now" I say as he turns around and sits up "sit down"he says patting the edge of the bed.
"the boys really like you" He smiles as I chuckle "Yeah even Derek" I ask "Yeah he said hes changed his opinion on you since last year" He says as I chuckle "Whatever happened between you two must have changed you though right" He asked me as I nod "in ways i cant explain" I sigh.
"what happened between you two" Ethan says as a strand of hair falls in between his perfect hazel eyes "long story short it was a toxic relationship gone mega wrong he had my nudes and leaked them making every boy like me for my body, yes it was bad but what was worse was that i trusted him you know" I say looking at him "but goodnight" I say going to my bed "we shall talk tomorrow morning goodnight" He says.
"Morning as in we talk for a few minutes and Im going home since its the weekends" I say "ok fine" He snickers.
