Third Person
Percy stared at the god Hermes in shock. "These - these scenarios will happen?"
Hermes sighed, and flicked his eyes back to the large computer screen behind him where he'd played around thirty little scenes where mortals, demigods and gods met Percy and Annabeth. "I honestly don't know. If one of these happens, then it's likely the rest will. I'm only trying to warn you."
"So Annabeth and I should go into hiding so we don't have an army of - uh, what are they called?"
"Fangirls."
"Fangirls, hunting us down?" Percy asked.
"Not necessarily. They're just trying to protect you."
"Protect us? From what?"
"People trying to break you and Annabeth up."
"Why would-"
"To be with you. Just because they want to. To kiss you. And a thousand more reasons why."
"But there were some who were our friends!"
"That's because they didn't want you."
"Will these happen?"
Hermes scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah, about that. It's fifty-fifty that it will happen. There are hundreds more of these scenarios."
"You're saying?"
"That something like this will happen. That's what I'm saying."
Percy leaned back on the wall behind him and sighed. Why couldn't his life be more simpler? "What if they do happen?"
"The Aphrodite Rangers will help, then there's me, Aphrodite, Poseidon and Athena, and then they'll have to get through you two." Hermes smiled. "But don't worry, I've got your back."
"Okay." Percy decided. Hermes flashed him back to camp half-blood, where he was going to tell Annabeth everything that he just saw.
