Layyah's POV

When I wake up it's already 10 in the morning and Sophia isn't next to me in the bed.

I go to Shannon's room and Shan isn't in the bed either.

I go downstairs and see Soph and Shan already dressed. Soph busy mixing what I assume to be eggs and Shan standing by the stove. They don't notice me until I start talking.

"What are you guys up to?" I ask rubbing the sleep out of my eyes

"Well Soph and I thought we'd let you sleep in and make you some breakfast. I'm making omelettes and Sopha is being my little helper." Shan says smiling

"Thank you guys." I say and go to give Soph a kiss on her cheek

"No problem. Now go get dressed, your parents should be here by 12 right?" She asks for confirmation

I nod my head and go upstairs to get ready.

Once I'm done I come out in some black and white striped shorts, my black Van's and a black sweater tucked in. I put my hair into a pony tail and add some lip balm to my dry winter lips. That whole makeup thing is a no no. My mom will probably have to chain me to my chair on my wedding day before I let anyone put eyeliner on me. I let my mom do it once and I got poked in the eye three times. That was the first and last time.

When I head downstairs with my phone in hand Shannon hands me my plate and we all start eating.

Once we're finished Shannon insists on doing the dishes and after a whole argument of how she's my guest and it's my house and she all but shuts me up by telling me she has oreos in her bag. How I never noticed that while searching for an outfit for her I do not know but I immediately sprint up the stairs and go rummaging through her bag. I find the box in the side of the bag. I immediately get all giddy and go back downstairs and share some with Sophia as we sit on the couch.

"L! SOMEONE IS CALLING YOU!" Shannon yells from the kitchen

I quickly jog up to my phone and see an incoming video call from Isaac.

"Its Isaac!" I shout to Shannon to let her know

I then answer the call and stuff my face with more oreos

"Hi" I say, although it sounds more muffled considering I'm eating

"Hello to you too." He says sarcastically

Before I answer I make sure I don't eat another oreo.

"What's up?" I ask looking at my screen

"What went on yesterday? I feel bad I missed it and you told me something happened with Shannon?" He asks

Before I can answer a mini me pops up in front of the screen.

"HIIII UNCLE ISAAC!!!" Sophia shouts into the screen

He chuckles as he looks at her while my eardrums try and recover. This kid got some good vocal cords. Hehe she gets it from me. Wink wink.

"Hiiii Sophia."

She nods her head at him

"Okay I'm done now." She says and goes back to watching tv

Isaac and I both just chuckle at her

"Anyway, what happened was-"

"Sup bitchhh" Shannon says coming into view, talking to Isaac

"Sup hoe." He answers
