Three Years Later...

I walked into the terminal with Yoon Jae holding my hand. He was the most precious little boy. I was proud of what we made. Namjoon got leave around my due date, but he missed the birth. He did get to see him as a newborn though. He only got to stay a few days before going back. We would FaceTime whenever we could, but nothing could beat having him here and person. And he was finally coming back.

"Yoon Jae, stay close!" I yelled as he started to run off. He was always playful and boisterous. He reminded me so much of Namjoon that way. Namjoon's mother smiled as she walked with me. After Yoon Jae, I got my figure back pretty quickly and started doing dramas again while Namjoon's mother watched Yoon Jae. Yoon Jae being born was big news in the tabloids for a while. Of course, Seo Joon and I were still great friends regardless. He even had a place as one of Yoon Jae's uncles. Yoon Jae was about to meet the other six for the first time. As expected, a crowd of fans were waiting by the terminal as well. A security guard walked with us just in case anything crazy popped off, but for the most part, he acted as Yoon Jae's watchdog.

The terminal doors opened and I found myself holding my breath. I waited with Yoon Jae's hand in mine as uniformed men exited came out. I waited and watched until those familiar faces finally appeared. They looked different in the uniforms, but they all had the same smiles. The fans cheered a "welcome home" as I watched Namjoon's eyes scan the free side of the barrier.

"Appa!" Yoon Jae yelled. He knew who his father was because of the constant calls and FaceTimes, but my heart almost exploded when Yoon Jae ran to Namjoon. Namjoon smiled and knelt down to pick Yoon Jae up in a hug. His dimples were the deepest I'd ever seen them as his smile stretched across his face. Namjoon walked over to me, carrying Yoon Jae on his hip. He pulled me into a tight hug as my arms wrapped around the both of them. Namjoon pulled away slightly to kiss me gently.

"I'm here," he said softly as he smiled at me. He smiled before placing a kiss on Yoon Jae's cheek.

"Laine!" I heard someone yell before I was tackled by the other six boys in a group hug.

"You came?" I laughed.

"Noona! We missed you! Where's my nephew?" JungKook said excitedly. I chuckled before pointing to where Namjoon was still holding him.

"Wah, he looks just like Namjoon," Hoseok said happily.

"Yoon Jae, say hi to your uncles," Namjoon smiled. Yoon Jae has his arms wrapped around Namjoon's neck as he looked at the rest of the boys.

"Hello, uncles," Yoon Jae greeted them politely.

"Wah, he talks really good," Yoongi said as he ruffled Yoon Jae's hair.

"My grandson is really smart and quick," Namjoon's mother bragged.

"Mom," Namjoon smiled as went to hug her.

"You just now notice me?" She joked as she hugged him. "Welcome home," she smiled.

I felt whole again. I had my superstar husband debacle by my side, our adorable son, and my favorite boys. It felt like a puzzle had been put back together again. Everything came back together in the place where it all started: the airport.

"Are you ready for the comeback concert?" Yoongi asked Jimin.

"Well, were already in our uniforms," Jimin shrugged.

"Right," Seok Jin agreed.

"Laine! You're coming with us, right?" Taehyung asked. I smiled as I nodded.

"Mm. I just got you back. You think I would leave you already? I need to keep looking at you to let my heart settle. Plus, Yoon Jae has been working really hard to be the eighth member of BTS," I joked.

"You're already our eighth member, Noona. Yoon Jae will be the ninth," JungKook corrected me. I chuckled as Namjoon held my hand in his. Looking over, Yoon Jae made himself comfortable in Namjoon's arms.

"Let's go," Namjoon smiled. I was over the moon to have my boys back again.
