Lorne Order Hero - Part Three
The color in Myna's face,
Was fading, quickly away;
Another scream rang out,
To Lorne's horror and dismay.
He placed their newborn babe,
Gently in the cradle;
Turned to face his wife,
Then appeared the angel.

She stood at Myna's side,
And quickly went to work;
Taking care of Myna,
From the scene, she did not shirk.
"Listen Myna dear,
Another baby's on its way.
You must be strong a bit longer,
And we will make it through this fray."
Myna's eyes closed,
Her strength was fading fast.
Lorne knelt at her side,
And watched the scene aghast.
Moments seemed like hours,
Then another cry was heard;
That of a second child,
Lorne could speak not a word.
In a soft weak voice, Myna spoke,
"Lorne are the babies alright?"
"Yes, my desert rose,
They are a miraculous sight."
Exhaustion taking hold,
Myna smiled and closed her eyes.
Lorne turned to the angel...
She was gone, to his surprise.
Both babies lay in the cradle,
Swaddled and asleep.
Lorne lifted his eyes to heaven,
And silently began to weep.
Myna's color began to return,
Her breath steady and strong.
Lorne held her close,
And began to hum a song...
