7-(I'm not ready)[E]

Before the last chapter...
Jungkook POV
We're in the waiting room at the hospital,
I can't know what the heck just happened,
When it happened so fast.

I think as I rub my scolded hand,

"You okay jungkook?" Namjoon asks me in korean.

"I'm just fine" I reply, a lie.

"How did that even happen?" He asks inquisitively,

My fucking hand melted.

"I don't know," I lie, again, scratching the back of my head.

He spots my hand, ttong.

"What is that jungkook?" He asks, staring at my hand.

"Nothing" I hastily hide my palm in a tight fist, too late.

He walks over, takes my hand and opens it.

"What the hell?! How did this happen!?"

I know there's no point not telling the truth,

I was only going to get caught in a lie. Future A/N: cringe)

"Wh-when I shook hands with that girl, it burned me." I stammer, wondering how he was going to react.

"Oh my god Kook you should've said something"

I look at him, completely confused.

"Oh you don't know, SEOKJIN COME HERE!" He calls for Hyung.

"Hmm?" Comes Seokjins voice from the kitchen, as his head appears around the door, (A/N Worldwide Handsome, Jin-Hair-Flip)

"You need to explain something to Jungkook, he got burnt" Joon adds at the confused look on Jins face.

He nods,
"Since my mom was an expert in this field-"

What the heck? What field?
"-And as your hyung, I think I should be the one to tell you that when two humans were made for eachother, aka soulmates, they bond at first touch,
That first touch brands them with the mark of being part of another human being, like a barcode almost I guess? It means you're attached to another person, sorta like you belong to them and they belong to you?"

"What he means to say is that that girl is your soulmate and you and her would be extremely happy as a couple, since (as seokjin said), you two were made for eachother" Namjoon says, much more smoothly than Jin.

"I-wow-what-the-f*ck" is all I can utter.

I'm attached to another person, they belong to me,
But I can't hardly keep up with Bangtan never mind a partner.

What if she doesn't like me.
What if we don't get along and she leaves me for another of the members?!

"But she is pretty" I say, thinking out loud,

"Meh, not as pretty as me" jin says, shrugging his shoulders carelessly.

Jin and Namjoon walk away, leaving me there to process this information.

What if I'm not allowed to date, has my manager considered this?

I wish I'd called in sick and not attended that audition judgment.

I'm not ready,
Not ready for the responsibility, the emotions
Or even the publicity.

With all those crazy ARMY's out there, the world will find out somehow.
