A week had passed after the conversion. The players who converted into halflings didn't rest. The next day after, they resumed the hunting operation. This alerted the alien race and caused them to travel in groups nowadays.

Moreover, frequent battles led them to being aware of the Half-Excelcises in the human camp. This resulted in leaders that were at least a step stronger than normal excelcis to be assigned in each patrolling groups.

The hunting operations became even more difficult. However, it was worth it. Currently, there were more than fifty converted and a few more were waiting to start their conversion. If they could find more cosmage level players from other human camps who were willing, then their numbers will increase.

Be and Shawn, the two friends Kian made back in Shade Academy were currently in Phantasm Forest. They were quite lucky to have survived this calamity.

The camp was filled with lightning once again. More players were willing to convert after they witnessed the fighting prowess of the converted.

It was Kian and Vanish who both supervised the group of converted players. After all, they were the ones who had the strongest psyche energies in the camp.

Currently, their eye crystals were a mix of the colors, red and blue. It meant that their psyche energies was almost comparable to normal excelcises.

"Say, what are our next plans after we gather enough converted players?" Kian asked Vanish who was more experienced in strategies and leadership.

"What else? It's to fight of course! We'll raid their base and kill their emperor." Vanish declared, confidence was evident on his voice.

Suddenly, a commotion broke out. A man appeared and approached them, bringing with him information. When the two heard his words, their expressions couldn't help but change.

A huge army of the Excelcis race was outside Phantasm Forest. There was an estimate of at least two hundred people according to the scouts.

The two took inhaled deeply from shock. The number of enemies were at least four times of theirs.

"It seems we don't even need to attack their base. They walked right into our doorsteps." Kian turned serious.

The two quickly called for the players. The converted were assigned to act as the vanguards while the players who had lots of crowd control skills but still haven't converted were asked to participate but in the back.

Vanish gave a speech and informed them of the circumstances.

After a few minutes, the players marched outside with serious but at the same time, nervous expressions. The reason was because the battle at Boreas City that day was still fresh on their minds. It was too one-sided. Just a few minutes from now, another large scale battle was about to start.

The players finally left Phantasm Forest. What welcomed them was the sight of more than two hundred Excelcises who either hovered in the air or were lined up in the ground.

A hundred meters separated the two sides and no one made a move. Any rash action could decide the outcome of the battle. Thus, a tense atmosphere permeated the place.

The two sides locked gazes with each other.

After a battle of aura and fighting spirit, the battle started. No one knew which side made the first move but psyche energy weapons and elemental attacks rained upon the field right after they started the battle.

Both sides has their own purposes in this battle. The Excelcis race members had necklaces with crystal balls on them. They were miniature versions of the psyche energy collector that the players once saw back in Boreas City. They plan on absorbing a great amount of psyche energy that the Half-Excelcises players had.

The players also wanted to increase their psyche energy powers. These batch of Excelcises were only a small part of the Excelcis race. They were probably sent here only to measure the human camp's current power. The players didn't want to waste this chance and planned to use them to increase their strength quickly.

As both humans and Excelcis mixed together in the battlefield, their leaders also met. There were five Excelcises who were stronger than the rest who acted as the leaders while there were only Kian and Vanish who represented the players. This situation placed a huge pressure upon them.

Kian materialized his gun and shot a few bullets to the enemies. They weren't merely psyche energy attacks but a mix of ememental ones too. They were concentrated to ensure penetration and make up for the smaller amount of psyche energy that he possessed.

The Excelcis leaders erected barriers and blocked his attacks. The barriers had small cracks from the collisions but they didn't break.

It was Vanish's turn. He wielded a huge sword made of psyche energy in both of his hands and smashed the barriers. Since he couldn't barely use his skills as a player due to the conversion, he relied solely on his psyche energy to attack.

The barriers finally broke which gave Kian a chance to attack. The Excelcis leaders didn't just stood there and waited to be beaten. In return, they also made their attacks.

Kian and Vanish managed to quickly block their attacks in time with ease.

The battle between the two sides showed no signs of ending. Both parties were still trying hard to find a way to break the current stalemate.
