----------

A few hours had passed ever since the battle had started. The battle between the cosmages and the Mansion Owneer Vampire, Count Dugu was already at its peak.

Ever since he released the dolls, it was like he was accompanied by multiple people. Their performance in battle were actually not below that of the cosmages.

With how tense the battle was, it was no surprise for a few cosmages, sword immortals, and a few more players to fall. However, the boss's HP was still at the third bar.

Thankfully, the dolls that protected Count Dugu were now tattered and couldn't be used. The count was also quite tired.

As for the condition below, it couldn't be said to be good. Since there were fewer cosmage ranked players, the leaders of the monsters had the upper hand. The players barely managed to get by because of their rising levels and stats that the monsters couldn't match.

Suddenly, a sword immortal that just launched a sky sweeping slash crashed down to the ground like a bullet.

Healing spells quickly landed on the sword immortal which saved his life for the meantime.

Some players who were lower levelled couldn't help theirselves anymore. They quickly joined the fight above, not thinking wether they would be of any help at all or not.

Kian also didn't want to wait anymore. Although his stats still rose, he would be absolutely wasting this chance to quickly raise his level. He was quite jealous of some players who had reached the Cosmage rank through this invasion.

The Mansion Owner Vampire didn't have the dolls anymore. He chose to use this chance to attack.

"Take this" he took out his book of enchantments and fired everything that it had.

His attacks blended with the other players' attacks. However, only a few dozens of their attacks landed. Nevertheless, their combined attacks dealt quite a bit of damage to the boss and distracted him for a bit.

The higher leveled players used this as a chance to launch sneak attacks against Count Dugu.

A large cloud of smoke appeared and blocked their sights from seeing the count. They couldn't help but turn tense. The boss surely wouldn't die from that barrage of attacks.

After a few seconds, the cloud of smoke cleared up revealing Count Dugu who stood there, injured and his breathing heavy. There was now a sinister crimson on his eyes. He was glaring at the people below with madness.

It seems he was now quite afraid. After all, his health was now about to fall to one hundred percent, a bar of health.

The players couldn't help but get frustrated though. Their combined attacks still couldn't kill it.

A few players once again shot some attacks. Kian also did the same. However, the boss didn't dodge. He just stood there and let the attacks hit him, constantly shaving his health.

Kian found that he now broke through the Warlock rank and became a Grand Warlock. A set of notifications appeared next to him.

Congratulations! You have become a Grand Warlock!

Dark Element Application II Acquired!

Blink Acquired!

The Blink skill was already shocking enough. However, he didn't have enough time to inspect it for long when a heavy pressure suddenly surrounded them.

Kian turned his head above to see the mansion of goth and elegance tremble as if it was cold. He suddenly had a bad premonition.

"R-run!" somebody shouted.

A lot of players knew that something was about to happen and quickly fled.

Kian did the same. Months of hunting experience told him that if he stayed there any longer then he would definitely die. He even used blink to quickly get away.

Behind, the mansion suddenly plummeted to the ground bringing it with a defeaning sound. The screams could even be heard anymore. It collided with the ground that shook the earth even a few dozen kilometers away.

The players were all thrown back by the force. Even the monsters weren't spared. Everything was in a state of chaos.

It's as the place had become a desert. There were clouds of dust everywhere. It was so dark and chaotic that Kian didn't want to open his eyes anymore. The slight pain that he felt was the only thing that indicated he was still alive.

Sounds of notications sounded on his ears. It seems when he was thrown away by the impact, he had killed a few monsters through his body. The ridiculous thing is that he actually leveled up through this. However, he did not have the energy to laugh.

Screams of people can be heard after the cloud of dust and sand cleared up. Kian didn't have the courage to raise his head. He hugged Xian know his arms which was luckily still alive. He remembered Bea and Shawn and wondered what happened to them.

"Boss!" Xian weakly said and slowly flew away from his arms. He took out a few potions and the two drank them to recover their health point.

He gritted his teeth and glanced at the area. Lot of players were in the ground wailing and screaming. A lot of the players were still too weak to even withstand the collateral force of the collision. As for the players who were directly hit by the mansion, it was best not to think about them.

Kian couldn't help but tremble when he saw this scene. He never thought that in his whole life, he would actually witness such a brutal scene. He was rooted on the spot and his hands couldn't help but turn cold and his breaths were short and quick. He absolutely scared right now.

Why did this happen?

He turned his head to see that Count Dugu was now different from before. There were already a pair of wings behind him. His trimmed fingernails became long and sharp.

A new battle started once again. However, the cosmages were now in a very difficult situation where they could die anytime if they made a small mistake.

As for the situation below, Kian saw that the woman fighting the Terror Succubus and the Terror Succubus herself were lying on the ground lifelessly. He turned his gaze away at the sight and stood up. He was ready to fight.

Suddenly, a toll of bells sounded out throughout the battlefield. A comfortable feeling shrouded the players who were already about to give up.

Revamped...

The story's now so different compared to what I wrote two years ago. I feel really nostalgic and somewhat reluctant in replacing them with new contents.
