One Shots

Neville

It was a cold night and I was standing at the edge of the Black Lake. I had to get away from the Carrows, I cant stand it anymore, I have a black eye, a scratch on my left cheek and a big black and blue bruise on my stomach. I just had enough I needed fresh air so I snuke out praying to god I did not get caught.

I heard a snap be find me. I took out my wand slowly, turned around and pointed my wand ready to defend myself. when I saw who it was I turned back to the lake.

"Beth you shouldn't be out here, It's not safe."

I didn't answer, he came closer and put his warn jacket around me. tears slipped down my cheeks.

"thank you." I said sniffling

"Beth, It will be okay" he tuned me to look at him, He pulled me into a hug "I promise" he whispered in my ear.

"Neville, I'm...I'm scared"

"I know, it is scary" he said, I squeezed him tighter, we stayed like that for a little longer till we heard a voice yell "WHO IS THERE!"

"come on" I said grabbing Neville's hand we ran back into the school and hid in the room of requirement with everyone else.

"everyone be quiet the Carrows are coming" Neville yelled

I put my arms around his torso and he put his around my shoulder. after a while we figured it was safe to go back to normal.

"Neville"

"yes" he said looking down at me.

"will you stay with me tonight?"

"yes of course I will"

"Thank you" I hugged me, he lifted me chin towards him. he leaned down and his soft lips met mine and I kissed him back.

He pulled away and looked into my eyes and I looked into his.

"I love you" he whispered

"I love you too" I said back, I got on my tip toes and kissed him.

as long as he was by my side I know I will be okay.
