The Boy Next Door (Josh)

while I was eating breakfast when I got a message from my next door neighbor Molly

"hey Annabeth can you come over and watch my nephew for a little?"

"yeah sure I'll be there in a few minutes."

"thank you"

I finished my breakfast and got dressed then walked over Molly's house. I knocked on the door and Molly answered the door. "Hello Annabeth how are you?" she asked "Good how about you?"

"I'm good, well I have to go Connor is in the pool, I'll be back in a few hours"

"Okay see you soon" I walked towards the pool, and a boy was standing on the diving board. "Hi I'm Connor" he said holding out his hand "what's up I'm Annabeth" I introduced myself and then he dove into the pool.

"hey kiddo do you want pizza for dinner?"

"yeah sure, thanks" he said he got out of the pool and we walked into the house I dialed up the pizza place and ordered 3 pizza's so that Molly and her other nephew could have some. after the pizza came and we ate some, the door opened "Hello" a voice called "JOSH" Connor yelled and hopped off the couch. he ran and the boy that was in the door way. he looked up at me and held out his hand "hey I'm Josh." he said, I cant believe it Josh Hutherson was standing right in front of me. "Hi it's nice to meet you I'm Annabeth" Molly walked into the house what do you guys want for dinner "no need auntie, Annabeth bought pizza for all of us."

"oh why thank you Annabeth."

There was a knock at the door Josh answered it "hey guys whats up, come on in" he said 3 boys walked in Alexander Ludwig, Jack Quaid, and Dayo Okeniyi. I stood there in shock. I walked over to Molly " well I should go you have guests." "please stay." she said "yeah please don't go, we will have fun."

"okay I'll stay" I said " good, I'll introduce you, hey guys this is Annabeth, Annabeth these are the guys,"

"Hi"

"so dude are we going night swimming or not?"

"yeah go get changed in the bathroom or my room and we will go, Anna you have to go with us."

"I would but I left my swim suite at my house."

"Anna fallow me you can borrow mine." Molly said.  she handed me a pink bikini with white poke-a-dots. "here, you can keep it, its not really my style." Molly said "than k you so much I said hugging her. when I walked outside all the boys were in the pool. when I walked out all the boys whistled and I blush. Josh and Alexander walked over to me and picked me up. "ready they said, 1. 2. 3. " they yelled and threw me into the pool. I reached the surface "you jerks" I said with a giggle. "will you help me up please" I said. they both held out their hands and I took both of then and pulled as hard as I could and they both fell in. "haha" I said and swam away "good one" Xander said putting his arm around my waist. after an hour for swimming I began to shiver. "you cold?" Josh asked moving close to me. "yeah."

"hey how about we watch a movie?" Jack said

"sure" we got out of the pool and Josh wrapped a towel around me. " thank you" I said and we walked in the house. we got changed and I was still cold. Alexander walked over to me. he took off his hoodie and have it to me and put it around me "thank you Xander" I said kissing him on the cheek.  we went to the couch, I  sat down in between Josh and Alexander.  Dayo put in Friday the 13th. at the scary parts I would take the hood of the hoodie and pull it over my head and cover my eyes. I felt a hand on my leg, I looked over and saw it was Josh's hand. I leaned over and leaned on him for the whole movie. at the end of the movie I got up and got a drink of water. "so you don't like scary movies?" Josh asked. "no i like them but I'm a big scaredy cat." I laughed He moved closer to me and leaned his head down and kissed me on the lips.

we walked into the living room and saw that Jack had put in Saw. during the movie Josh went to the bathroom and a really scary part came on, I jumped and made a little squeak. "It's okay." Alexander said and put his arm around me. after putting the movie scream in I fell asleep on Alexsander. I woke up and saw it was 1:30 in the morning. I sat up. "I need to go home." I said out loud I leaned over to Alexander and whispered "can you walked me home, it silly but I'm scared" I said "of course I will." We got up I thanked Josh for letting me stay. "come over tomorrow yeah?" "sure" I said and gave him a kiss on the cheek." Alexander and I walked out of the house. I took hold of his hand "WHAT IS THAT" Alexander yelled, and I screamed so loud. "you are so mean" I said hitting on the shoulder. We walked to my door. "thank you for walking me home. " you welcome." he leaned down and gave me a little kiss on my lips. "I'll see you around." he said and left I went to my room and tried to sleep but I couldn't, so I called Josh.

"Hello?"

"hey Josh I cant sleep"

"I'll be over in a second" and then he hung up. a few minutes later there was a knock at the door. Josh was there and he walked in and gave me a kiss. we walked in and we went to my room and laid in my bed. "hey Annabeth"

"yeah Josh"

"will you be my girlfriend?"

I turned to him and gave him a hug "yes" he lead close to me and kissed me and we fell asleep in each others arms.
