Mike's Pov:

I was super excited about seeing El and Will.

I can't believe it's been so long since we've seen them.

I'm used to seeing them every single day, either at school or at El's cabin.

It went from that, to never seeing them at all.

I know I called El pretty much everyday, but it still wasn't the same.

Same for Will.

Talking to him was cool... and a bit awkward, but I still got to hear his voice.

It actually kind of made my day less stressful.

I didn't call Eleven the day I called Will.

Oh my god. She probably got so pissed.

Im surprised she hasn't thrown me a against a wall yet.

"I missed you Mikey." She kisses me all over my face.

"Missed you too El." I hug her against me.

"Why didn't you call me that one time?" She frowns.

"Were you sick?"

"Um no... I'm sorry El. I forgot. But I called you right in the morning, remember?"

"Oh yeah. Sorry. I just thought that you forgot about me."

I awkwardly glance and Will and notice that he's looking at the floor.

Is he okay?

Should I go ask?

He looks so sad.. and down.

I would say quiet, but he's always quiet.

"I could never forget about you El.." I give her a light smile.

"Hey, look at me." She moves my face towards hers.

"Will is just, scared. Probably. Cause of, everything.." she laughs nervously.

"I don't think that's it." I whisper.

"What??" She scoffs.

I raise an eyebrow at her.

"What?" I say.

"He's just scared. We should leave him alone and go upstairs." She kisses my cheek and stands up and grabs my hand.

"Come on Mikey." She smiles.

"We should stay down hear and comfort him." I tell her.

"But he's sad! We have to leave him alone. Plus shouldn't you be worrying about me? What did Will do?"

Okay, since when has Eleven been this bitchy?

I can tell that her and Will don't have the best relationship.

"I've known Will since he's been 6 years old. He's my best friend. I'm going to ask if he's okay, El."

I take my hand back from hers and walk over to Will, who was at the other side of the room.

"I know you heard everything, Will. What's wrong?" I sit down across from him.

I mentally prepare myself to hear something like, "He's back" or, "I can feel him".

"Nothing. Im fine." He lies.

"Will." I start. "I know you're definitely not just fine. You can talk to me."
