3rd Person's POV
(Y/N) (L/N) is a chubby girl who was once at the international volleyball team at a really young age of 12, she was still in elementary and yet she was named The Ultimate Libero of the International Women's Volleyball Team, she was indeed the best of the best Liberos, she was so cheerful and always happy-go-lucky but when she was in her last junior high tournament in the Inter-High preliminaries, her right arm broke which caused it to be really hard to fix.......so her parents decided to cut the hand which she was so upset about. Ever since that moment, she never played volleyball nor watch a volleyball match. She hated volleyball. She DESPISE it truly. Right now she's in second year of high school, she was at Johzenji High.
"(Y/N)-chan!"the Boys Volleyball team of Johzenji, Hana Misaki said as (Y/N) whipped her head onto the girl
"Yes, what is that you needed?"(Y/N) asked almost like she never experienced any emotions in her life
"Can you join in the volleyball club for the next manager?"Misaki asked as (Y/N) looked at her
"I refuse"(Y/N) said as Misaki looked at her
"What why? I heard that you were the Ultimate Libero of the international team! You can strategize with m----"Misaki was cut off
"I told you, I'm not interested"(Y/N) said coldly which Misaki flinched to and nods
"Sorry"Misaki said as (Y/N) scoffed and walked away leaving Misaki was thinking to herself then suddenly, Runa Kuribayashi, the second manager of Johzenji's volleyball team came.
"How come she changed?"Runa asked as (Y/N) was washing her face with her left hand
"Wake up baka! Tch, you are not in response to the activities anymore"(Y/N) said to herself while sighing, she looked at her left arm and smiled a bit, unknowingly to her, someone might've heard her whispering to herself.
"Is that (L/N)-san?"a guy with short light brown hair asked, his name is Arata Tsuchiyu.
"She's smiling! I've never seen her smile before"he said to himself while (Y/N) kept staring at her arm
"Dang it! I missed it! I really missed playing volleyball........b-but I despise it now! How come I still want to watch a match? It will only bring back bad and nasty memories! Why would I even want that b-back!?"(Y/N) asked as Tsuchiyu saw multiple tears in (Y/N)'s eyes.
Tsuchiyu's POV
I gulped and run towards her. 'I might get kicked in the butt for this by her but I think she needs comfort' I thought as I hugged her and she was now shocked to see me
"Cry all you want (L/N)-san"I said as she punched my chests as I endured the pain, I felt droplets of water in my face......it's raining.
"L-l-let go of me!"she said as I didn't let go, I'm scared of her but I've been having a crush on her since.
"Cry, (L/N)-san"I said as she cried, screamed, and shouted.......I hugged her with my left hand and my right was on her head, patting her.
"L-let......go of me......T-Tsuchiyu......"she said as I looked at her
"Cry, (L/N)-san. I don't know why did you stop playing volleyball, I only know a little, but you can still play volleyball!"I said as she looks at me
"How!? How will I become a player if I have a broken arm!?"she asked as she pointed at her right arm, it's gone.
"You can't be a Libero forever (L/N)-san! You can still watch and play it, you can spike with your left!"I said as she looked at me
"But I want to be Libero again! I want to receive the ball in my arms again!"(L/N)-san said as I looked at her
"Then let's receive with only one hand, yeah?"I asked as she looked at me
"H-huh!? Is that even possible!?"she asked as I chuckled and grabbed her left wrist and dragged her towards the changing room.
~Time skip after two months in (Y/N)'s POV~
I nervously fidget my fingers and I was really thinking twice whether I will go inside the gym or not, after two mo this of practicing receive with Tsuchiyu-kun, h-h-he thought me so well, I-I-I-I can actually receive again with only one hand. Though it's hard.
"(L-L-L-L/N)-senpai?"the first year manager asked, I think her name is Runa Kuribayushi.
"Huh? Oh uh sorry"I said as she was shocked, I guess not many people knew what my real personality is. Ever since I can receive again, my cheerfulness regain throughout my body.
"Don't be shocked, I-I-I'm always like this but after my accident.......I became a emotionless girl"I said as she nodded quickly and I looked at her in curiosity
"You came on your own, neh (Y/N)-chan?"I heard Hana Misaki-senpai asked as I looked at her
"H-H-Hana-senpai, osu"I said as she smiled and grabbed my wrists and dragged me towards the gym. The court, the net, the balls......everything about it, I missed all of it. I had the smile that nobody except for Tsuchiyu-kun have seen.
"Ah (Y/N)-san! You're here! Ready for receives? Or you will join?"Tsuchiyu-kun asked as I looked at him.......
"I certainly missed the net.......so can we do receives?"I asked as he nodded while I smiled and we enjoyed every receive.
"I know her......."a guy with long messy brown hair said as I looked at him
"I think she competed in internationals before!"a guy with brown hair said as I smiled, they were shocked, I've bumped into the volleyball team many times and they saw my cold personality.
"I'm (Y/N) (L/N), the former Libero of Japan's Women's Volleyball Team, but I had an accident in my last junior high"I said cheerfully and everyone was shocked
"You can smile and cheerfully say that!? I thought your the cold girl or some sort!"their captain said as I smiled
"That was the facade me, I started despising volleyball because I thought I can't play anymore, though Tsuchiyu-kun thought me how to receive again though with only one hand, this is the old me when I still have my right arm"I said as they looked at me
"And to the fact that I got a girlfriend is amazing!"Tsuchiyu-kun said as I blushed and smiled
"Wait you're his girlfriend!? Since when?"Hana-senpai asked as I smiled
"We've known each other since first year and we just got together last month"I said as they nodded then their coach said that they should train. So I smiled and kissed Tsuchiyu-kun on the cheek which made him flustered in front of his teammates.
"I have errands to run to, Ara-kun! That's a good luck charm too! Bye-bye, see ya all tomorrow!"I said as he nodded and smiled
"Love you (Y/N), and take care!"he said as I smiled
"Love ya too, and yeah I'll be careful!"I said as he chuckled and I walked away from the gym.
