Misery

I watched as the snow fell
The first time this year
And I thought of her pale skin
Her pure soul

I thought of her joyful laughs
Pouring from her soul
I thought I'd her sweet hugs
That she gives no more

I remembered when she said she loved me
When she meant it wholly
That was when her smile reached her eyes
And her dreams surpassed the skies

But now she's nothing
She sits and stares at the blank walls
Picking her skin, making scabs
Clawing her way out of misery
