Hi (another one)

Watching the tears stream
Hot and wet down her cheeks
I swipe a thumb over her cheek
Clearing the never ending river

She looked back at me
Eyes of blue and green
Her lips quivered
And her body shook

She was breaking
Piece by piece
And no one
Seemed to notice

The girl in the mirror
Mocked her as she stood
Knife in her hand
Blood down her arms

She let out one last cry
To let the world know
That she had finished
The life she lived was done
