Nolam arrived a little after noon at Clytia's apartment. He had thought about how they could make things work. The presence of her friend was a blessing. She seems more opened than Clytia. It wouldn't be too hard to make her like him. Sure enough she would convince Clytia to open up more. He invited them both for lunch. He was right. Karen seemed to already be under his charms, never missing an occasion to push her friend to be more attentive to him. He loved how shy she would get whenever he would hold her hand or go into any type of public display of affection. He could definitely get used to it.

They spent the week end having fun with Karen. He got to talk with Fiona who was more cautious than Karen. However, he didn't mind. It proved that she had a good support system through her friends. They later had a talk, agreeing on avoiding the press for the moment. Clytia wasn't ready to face the spotlight which he could understand. He had already contacted a real estate agent and they would start the visit for a bigger rental.

The following week went by pretty easily. Nolam was really helpful with the chores but he could be a little annoying with his pranks. He would jump in front of her when she less expected it to scare her. After the fifth time, she had to threaten him to make him stop. During the day, he would drop her at work and come pick her up after. They would then diner and spend the rest of the evening in front of the TV or play chess game. He had made his mission to teach her chess but she refused. He bugged her until she accepted. They had fallen into a comfortable routine easily.

The only problem was the house search. They had different styles. Strangely Nolam was more into traditional houses. They couldn't seem to agree on something. Nolam had fallen in love with a renovated four bedrooms farm house. It was located on a three acer land lot of space, with 4.5 bathrooms, a tennis court and a swimming pool. It was beautiful, but too rustic and old fashioned for her.

She wanted something more actual, modern

She wanted something more actual, modern. They had visited a two bedrooms town house. It was decorated in an urban style with glamorous features and expansive floor to ceiling windows. It was smaller and she felt more at ease in that environment. The area had a plethora of restaurants, cafes, parks and other shopping options.

She finally decided to go for Nolam choice since he would be the one paying for it and her leasing for still up for four more months

They lodged the next week end. He invited over some of his friends, celebs and non celebs. Clytia played the perfect hostess. She was less than happy with the whole event but she kept her mouth shut. Nolam had given up his life in LA to be with her, so that was the least she could do to help him cope with her life. It was five in the morning when she finally went to bed. She was too tired. She left him with two of his best friends who were sleeping at the house. Unfortunately, they seemed to grow louder as the time passed, making it impossible for her to rest. She didn't want to be the bad guy but they were getting on her nerves. She grabbed her phone angrily texting Nolam to ask them to tone it down. Thankfully they did after few minutes.

She was slipping in a peaceful sleep when she felt a hot body snuggling against her. She tried to push him away, but he only scooted closer, tightening his embrace.

"Nolam" she said in an exasperated tone.

"Hm!" he replied

"Back off"

"No."

"Nolam"

"Shhh. Go back to sleep." He said kissing her neck.
