You had been dating namjoon for 2 yrs now . You both met at the subway station he was at the verge of getting recognized by armies and you went to his resue.

Yn : hey babe I found us sits, who are they?

Nj : 🤨 no one?

U : Ik my bf is handsome ladies but he is sick so dont bother him

Gals : oh sorry we thought he was namjoon from bts

Yn : oh lol no worries he gets that alot and specially now with his throat infection

Gals : sorry , get well soon

They left at the next stop and you uncircled your hands from namjoon and you were about to leave him alone but he caught your wrist and thanked you.

Nj : Thanks for saving me

U : no worries

You smiled staring at him, he treated you to coffee and since that day life took a new turn for you both. He felt so lucky for being able to date you.  You were the love of his life,  he couldnt imagine his life without you and you couldnt imagine your life without him. 

He took you to meet his parents but his mother never liked you . She wanted him to date someone korean but you were a foreigner so she didnt like it . She pretended that she liked you at first but after a few months her facade was caught red handed by you.

It was a Christmas night and you were celebrating it with namjoon and his parents , as yours were abroad namjoons father specially invited you to join them.

When you two arrived it was only namjoons father who was greeting you , his mom was in the kitchen.  You happily walked towards the kitchen it seemed like she was talking to someone on the phone so you didnt want to bother her . When you were about to leave you heard your name being called but she was still talking on the phone.  You stood there and couldnt believe what you heard next

N. Mom : I dont like that girl at all I just have to pretend to like her for Namjoon,  ugh out of all ppl my son had to choose someone like her

After a few mins she was done and when she turned around she faced you but she didnt have any look of guilt on her face.

U : why didnt you tell me that you hate me

N. Mom : I want my son to be happy and he would break up with you in a few months anyway

U :  how would you know tht?

N. Mom : because ik him

U : you clearly dont

And before it got anymore heated you saw namjoon coming towards you both and asked you whats wrong. The both of you shook your head saying nothing yet he was still confused and decided to not to talk abt it more .

A year passed by namjoons mom since that day kept on bugging you to leave him.  You always thought to yourself,

"It will be okay, I just have to look at the bright side"

Today again namjoons mom called you but this time she wanted to meet up with you.  You got dressed as you had no choice but to meet her and prayed to come back home with no harsh or bad feelings.

At the cafe

N. Mom : so yn I just found out some  interesting news about you , more likely your family

U : what are you trying to say Mrs. Kim?

N. Mom : one of my colleagues from work knows your mom
