Chapter Five: Bet

Start from the beginning

"Come Uchiha!" The blond called out to me.

"Coming princess..." I smiled.

Thank Kami, he didn't hear the princess part or he'll beat me up to a pulp. As I walked along the long hallway leading up to the young Uzumaki's room, a bunch of stained glass windows were lined up all the way to the blonde's room, along with dazzling yellow lights dangling above me. The blond angel reached for the door and opened a gateway to the soon to be my favorite place in this earth.

I gulped down the buckets of saliva and took a step forward. Gold, bright yellow, and a hint of vanilla, those are the words to describe what i felt when i entered the room. The scent of vanilla and chamomile tainted every corner of the room, he must love chamomile. And what's this? A cupboard filled with expensive looking ramen noodles?

"Kitsune, why do you have a cupboard of ramen noodles?"' I giggled.

"They're not just ordinary ramen noodle Uchiha! They're limited edition!" He huffed.

"I see.. But why in your bedroom?"

"They're very dear to my heart! since i lived in the states, i didn't grow up with Japanese food. My mom and dad would always bring me ramen from Japan whenever they would visit. I didn't like them at first but something happened during my first rejection from a client, and i resided to ramen. It became my comfort food and an essential." He started to tear up.

His innocent face started to tear, and yet he weeped with a smile. His love for ramen is too deep to explain and their bond is unbreakable. Honestly, i cant even believe i'm talking about the bond between my little kitsune and ramen noodles. His face looks so happy though, he's the perfect little dork i exactly need in my life.

"You're such a dork you know that?" I pinched his cheek.

"Hey! I was raised on ramen and hard work! Don't mock me!" He pouted.

"Joking Kitsune..." I chuckled.

The blond smiled as he set his bag on his desk, he walked over to his walk-in-closet and so i followed. Impressive i must say, the closet features shelves with designer handbags and accessories, shoes that every fashion enthusiasts dreams of having, and clothes that i expect a fashionista to have. What's most impressive is that he bought all of this with his own money, from his own sweat and tears, all his hard work can be proven just by looking at his closet.

The young Uzumaki took a casual dark blue v-neck long sleeve and some grey sweats, he handed them over to me.

"A company sent these over to me, and to be quite honest they're a little big for me. I'm sure you'll fit in these, you can hit the shower through the door before the closet." He smiled.

"Thanks kiddo!" I ruffled up his soft and silky golden locks.

Naruto's POV

Honestly, I've never been like this. I've never let a complete stranger in my house let alone let that certain stranger in my room. Okay, maybe I'm completely over exaggerating this whole situation. Sasuke Uchiha may not be a complete stranger, but technically I've known the man for a week or even less.

His presence is quite comforting, to the point where i may or may not have lost track of time. Everything with him feels reassuring and balm, though sometimes i wonder if i wasted much of his time or not. I mean i was the one who invited the raven over to my house in the first place, crap! What do i do?

The Uchiha followed my instructions and found himself in my bathroom. Of course, i have already contacted the maids before hand and told them to prepare my bathroom for Sasuke. I told the maids to prepare only the finest shampoo and body soap for the raven. Even though i had to give up my beloved eight dollar shampoo that i may or may not bought from the kids isle of a supermarket and the vanilla body wash i bought from bath and body works, but i felt like it was necessary that the raven gets the best. I mean, after all that he has done for me, it was the least i could do.
