Third pov
Amelia was in the stables tending to the horses her uncle had. Mrs Macready had said it wasn't a requirement but she liked doing it. It was a break in days that could become incredibly boring.
Hopefully that would change since there actually was new kids supposed to come. She just hoped they wouldn't be the spoiled and bratty kind. That would really be a shame.
"Amelia, come and greet the others." She heard Mrs Macready outside.
After quickley making sure the horses wouldn't run away she went outside to see four kids look at her in surprise. "Hello, my name is Amelia." She smiled.
Mrs Macready raised her eyebrows expectantly.
Susan collected herself first. "Pleased to meet you, my name is Susan. This is Edmund, Peter and Lucy." She motioned to each siblings as she introduced them. To her surprise Peter seemed at loss for words.
Amelia just smiled and turned her head to Mrs macready. "Would you like me to give them a tour?"
Mrs Macready nodded. "Please do. You know where everything is."
After the older woman left Amelia motioned for the siblings to follow her. "Come on. I'll show you where everything is."
