You've never left your cell in - well you don't know how many years. Your cell is your home. And intercom speaker is how the men talk to you, teaching you to read and write and do math. Life is simple, yet boring, until a strange boy breaks you out and informs you that you have been locked away for seventeen years because you posses powers that rival the gods who rule the lands.
