Missing You Ms. Lopez

Part 16

We continued to enjoy the day with my family... Pagka-hapon ay may party din na naganap sa bahay because everything about my daughter's birthday was already planned bago pa nag-confess si Eeian.. I can see him smiling but I know na deep inside, he's really wounded..  Maraming mga bisita ang dumating including some of Eeian's business partners.. The party went well and the whole night seemed so fulfilling dahil narin sa presence ng family ko...

"Mom? Are we going to leave? " Princess suddenly asked me habang ako ay nakaupo couch dito sa living room.

"Yes, baby, who told you that?" saad ko.

"I heard granny talking to Tita Nika, mom. Granny said that we are going to leave this place.. Mom, this is our home, right? So why do we still have to leave ?"  Napakamot nalang ako sa aking ulo dahil alam kong magtatanong at magtatanong si Princess hangga't hindi siya nalilinawan sa mga bagay-bagay.

"Princess, mom told you na masama ang mag-eavesdrop right?" She nodded.

"Pero po kasi mom, I heard your name na pinag-uusapan ka po nila then I can't help po to eavesdrop kasi po I heard them po talking that uuwi po sila with us po." Princess said habang nakayuko.. I know alam niya na masama ang maki-usyuso but she's also confused about things.

"Okay.. baby, sa susunod, wag na mag-e-eavesdrop ha?"

"Yes, mommy.. Pero mommy , bakit po tayo magli-leave mommy? This is our home po.. This is where daddy, you and I are living..."

"Yes anak, this is our home, but we need to go back to Manila baby.. Granny and Grandpa were living in Manila kaya gusto din nila makasama tayo doon... .."

"Daddy will come with us too, mommy?" umiling iling ako..

"Mom, please mom.. isama po natin si Daddy po.. We can't leave daddy here mommy..  pleasee..." My daughter pleaded na paiyak na..

"Daddy will be fine staying here alone baby.. " Eeian intruded na kakalapit lang sa amin ni Princess..  He sat on the couch at inakay ang aming anak..

"But dad, wala ka po kasama po dito. "  Princess reasoned out.

"Nandito naman sina nanny, Princess.. and besides daddy will come visit you there naman anak... " inakap soya bigla ni Princess at ibinaon ang mukha nito sa leeg ng ama.

" Promise daddy?" Princess asked habang nakasiksik parin sa leeg ni Eeian..

"Promise anak.. daddy will visit you there... Alam mo namang di natitiis ni Daddy ang kanyang Princess diba? " Umangat bigla ng ulo si Princess and nodded.. She kissed her dad's cheek at niyakap ito ulit..
I can see my daughters tears keep on falling from her eyes.. Naaawa ako sa anak ko, pero kailangan namin gawin to.. I want to give myself the chance to build a new life together again with my family.. Alam kong mamimiss ko ang lugar na ito.. I'm going to miss this place so badly pero ito din ang lugar kung saan nasaktan ako dahil sa maraming bagay na akala ko'y totoo... I need to go back to where my reality is...
To the place where Princess and I really belong...

After the party, agad akong pumanhik sa guest room para magligpit ng mga gamit namin ni Princess. Princess is still awake at hanggang ngayon ay gising parin ito at nakikipaglaro sa kanyang ama. I was done packing our things up, nagdesisyon akong humiga muna sa kama to take a nap.. Kakasarado ko palang ng aking mga mata when I heard the room's door opened.. Nakarinig ako ng mga yapak sa sahig at alam kong siya yun.. Si Eeian yun... I managed to close my eyes and pretended that I am sleeping.. Naramdaman kong umupo siya sa kama and he started caressing my hair..

"I'm sorry for everything bhie... Sorry for all damages I've maid and the pain that I've inflicted... I will miss you and our daughter...  Mahal na mahal kita bhie.. mahal *sob* na mahal *sob*sob*..." naramdaman ko ang mainit na likidong namumuo sa aking mga mata... I need to control myself para di maiyak...
