Y/n pov

I was limping beside Tony as we were both forced out of the cave that we had been being kept in. Bags were ripped off our heads and the light blinded me for a second before I could properly see. There were tents set up everywhere and Stark Industries weapons were set up under the tents. I could feel the color drain from my face.

A man spoke and Yinsen translated for him. "He wants to know what you think."

Tony continued to look around. "I think he's got a lot of our weapons."

The man continued to speak and Yinsen kept translating. "He says they have everything you need to build a Jericho missile. He wants you to make a list of materials. He says for you to start working immediately, and when you're done, he will set you both free."

I looked back to Tony. "No he won't."

Tony turned to me, a look of regret in his eyes. "No he won't."

-

Yinsen was off to the side. "I'm sure they're looking for you two. But they will never find you in these mountains. Look... What you just saw... That is your legacy. Your life's work in the hands of those murderers. Is that how you want to go out? Is this the last act of defiance of the great Tony Stark and Y/n L/n? Or are you going to do something about it?"

Tony turned to Yinsen. "Why should I do anything? They're gonna kill me, you, Y/n..." He sighed. "Either way, if they don't, I'll probably be dead in a week."

"Well then, this is a very important week for you isn't it?"

-

Tony had Told the people all the materials that he needs and they were currently being brought into the cave. I was somewhat suspicious because I helped create the Jericho and some of the materials that he listed off were not needed to create it. What was he up to?

It was silent in the cave so I decided to speak up. "How many languages do you speak?"

"A lot. But apparently not enough for this place. They speak Arabic, Urdu, Dari, Pashto, Mongolian, Farsi, Russian."

Tony looked at him. "Who are these people?"

"They are your loyal customers, sir. They call themselves the Ten Rings."

Tony knelt next to a box of supplies and dug around for a bit. Yinsen leaned down next to him. "You know, we might be more productive if you include me a your Y/n in the planning process."

Tony had moved to a table and was taking apart a piece of equipment. "Okay. We don't need this." He threw a small piece aside.

Yinsen looked confused. "What is that."

I looked at what Tony had in-between the tweezers he was holding. "It's palladium."

Tony briefly looked at me. "That's right. It's 0.15 grams. We need at least 1.6," He looked to Yinsen. "So why don't you go break down the other eleven."

Yinsen turned to the camera at the corner of the room and waved to it, signaling for one of the men to come down. Once one of the men came down and Yinsen began to try and explain what we need.

I turned to Tony. "So want to take this time to explain what you're up to?"

He sighed and pulled a stack of papers from the table. He held them in front of a light and straightened them out. It was a suit of some kind. "This... This is the plan. This is our way out of here. We only have one shot. One chance to escape." He looked me in the eyes. "Do you trust me?"

I grabbed his hand. "Always."

-

"Careful. Careful. We only got one shot at this." Tony was watchig Yinsen help create a mini Arc Reactor.
